I bought this on sale for $39.99 and I can say it’s THE best Bluetooth speaker in that price range. I’m replacing an old Jambox with this and the fictionally is awesome in comparison. The carabiner clip is perfect for my needs and the sound is rich and full. It’s obviously only a 3” woofer cone so don’t expect this to “bump”. Charging speed is quick and depending on the amount of bass and the volume level, is accurate with the product description. You can’t have it turned all the way up listening to anything with a lot of bass and expect it to last very long. I absolutely love the camo with the orange and unless you’re cranking it up all the way, I’ve noticed little distortion as the company has ensured the speakers can’t be blown with a safe volume cut off point. The JBL Clip 4 is an awesome little speaker that packs a solid punch for its size. The sound is clear, the bass is decent, and the built-in carabiner makes it super convenient to clip onto backpacks, bikes, or pretty much anything else. It’s tough, portable, and reliable—perfect for on-the-go listening. That said, if you have a bit of extra budget, I’d definitely recommend checking out the JBL Clip 5. It has a redesigned carabiner with more clearance, making it even easier to attach to a wider variety of things. Plus, it supports firmware updates and EQ customization through the JBL app—something the Clip 4 doesn’t offer. The Clip 5 also gets just a bit louder, which is nice if you’re using it outdoors or in noisier environments. Overall, the Clip 4 is still a fantastic speaker and a great value—but the Clip 5 edges it out in a few meaningful ways. ... show more
