It was completely plastic everything fell apart as soon as my son started to use it. The stool was so small my 34 lb 2 year old couldn't even sit on it. It was much to short and he is a short 2 year old. The plastic that thing was put together with is the thinnest lowest grade possible. Even the sound it not good. I guess if he was more like 12 -18 months it would be fine but it was poorly made and I regret buying this item.

Overall pretty easy to set up and a great starter drum set for little kids. It took my husband and I about 5 minutes even though the picture instructions were missing some steps. We had fun playing with it while the kids were asleep. This is a Christmas gift so we will have to follow up later regarding durability and see what happens when our 2.5yo is let loose on it. We’re hoping we can teach him to hit his drums instead of people… wish us luck. It comes with suction cups on the bottom to stabilize the stand so that would only help if you have a solid floor you’re setting it on. Good sound quality for a toy, my husband played a recognizable marching band tune on the set!

This drum set is perfect for a little one. My nephew loves it. It packs away nice and small, isn’t overly loud, and is as durable as you’d expect it to be for a kid to be banging around on. Highly recommend for toddler level drum set.

The drum set broke easily on the first try of putting it together. They continue to become lose and fall anytime they are played with as well as the stool. It very cheap made and not durable at all.
