Finally assembled my nightstands and I must say- the quality is great. The instructions were straight forward and no missing parts. The drawers are wood and that I loved. The backing inside the drawers are just a thin very, very light wood so the actual back isn't solid wood. Besides this awesome bright yellow mustard color more than that, I LOVE the height! I wanted nightstands with a taller height than 24" and these are perfect! I painted the legs as you can see in the attached picture to match the color scheme I wanted for my bedroom and I love, LOVE the contrast. Love the way these looked so I had to buy them. Wasn't a huge fan of the white drawer inside but the outside and build quality are very nice and was easy to assemble.

It sure wasn't a 20 minute job to assemble. The material is cheap and the workmanship is not great. Like the other reviews said, we had to be very careful when screwing into the particle board so as not to damage the board or the threads. Some of the holes are not in the right place. When assemble the drawers, it is best not to tighten up first so that there is wiggle room to get every piece aligned correctly. These are not very sturdy pieces that would survive a house move. But once assembled I like the look and the size. They are worth the price and the work. ... show more

The assembly process was mostly smooth, but there are a few issues to be aware of: • The oversized back panel (#5) does not fit properly. Forcing it in may cause damage to the side panels. • One plastic grommet was missing, which slightly affects rigidity but does not prevent assembly. • There was a small cosmetic flaw on the front panel of one drawer. Beyond these details, the materials, packaging, and instructions are well done. You get what you pay for—these nightstands look nice, have a solid weight, and my wife really likes them. Keeping in mind that they are 2 for around $100, I would say they are a great value. I was actually impressed because they don't look as cheap as they are. They arrived packed well with no damage. They were the perfect size for what I wanted. The drawers open and close smoothly because there are plastic tracks inside the cabinet portion. The directions could be more clear, but anyone with experience assembling furniture should be able to figure it out. It took me about 40 minutes to assemble each one. The drawers were time consuming only because of the number of long screws required, and if I had an electric screwdriver that would have shaved off a lot of time. My only complaint is the cam lock nuts were too small and the cam screws were too short. So it took a little maneuvering to get the nuts to grasp the screws. I am glad I took a chance and ordered these cute nightstands because they don't look as cheap as they are. ... show more
