Beautiful glasses. Thick quality and lovely if purple is your color. I accidentally put it in the dishwasher and it was fine. My daughter said was not supposed to go in the dishwasher. Definitely worth buying if you like purple and style!

I love my Blue, Godinger Old Fashioned Whiskey Glasses, Drinking Glasses. I have used these a number of times now. Solid glass seems thicker than they actually are. They are durable; and are great for multi-use ; or even just as whiskey glasses. I love the color and pattern of the design. These are a perfect addition to my man cave/bar. I hand washed them before using. They have wide moth, and are easy to use for mixed drinks, tea, lemonade, whiskey, and etc. I do not have a dishwasher in man cave, do they will get wShed by hand. ** side note- there is no peeling of color or any kind, found in my drinks. I had bought the shorter version of these at HomeGoods and absolutely fell in love with them so I came here to see if there was a taller version and was so happy to see there is! These are super solid, very well made. Very intricately carved, and VERY sparkly. They basically glow. I can’t even describe it but I’m obsessed with them. I think I like the short ones a little better…the carving is a little more condensed due to the size and they seem to sparkle/glow a little more but honestly even the tall ones are still more beautiful than any other glasses I’ve seen. My first pic shows the capacity difference between the two versions. It’s a 2fl oz difference, which isn’t much. I filled the smaller one up to the top of the top ridge and then dumped it into the taller one, and you can see the water level in the pic. None was spilled. I like having both sizes because some of my family are older and have trouble so the narrower glass is easier for them to hold. Which brings about another good point…the carving (I’m not sure what else to call it, I know it’s machine-done..) makes these so easy and comfortable to hold. Absolutely LOVE. I’m not sure about the other colors but after seeing the reviews of the blue ones fading and stuff, I examined these and asked others what they thought too and we all think they seem like the crystal itself is pink, not coated. I guess time will tell but I definitely will hand wash them because I will cry if anything happens to them LOL. ... show more

These glasses are beautiful and the glass is thick so they're unlikely to break easily. They are just what I was looking for to replace our old, worn-out glassware. Handwashing is recommended, and because we want to maintain their shine, we will follow this recommendation.

Crystal, deep / hot pink high ball glasses that are gorgeous! These accent some remodeling in the kitchen as well as enhance upcoming Valentine’s Day tea. They have a substantial feel and weight. The pattern has an old-world feel while the color is nicely modern. I am very happy with these glasses!

I have had the blue glasses for several months now. I use one glass every day and normally wash it in the top rack of the dishwasher twice a week so it gets a workout. Recently, some of the blue coloring is coming off the sides after coming out of the dishwasher. The description says to not put these glasses in the dishwasher and I can now confirm that. Since I am not following their recommendations, I am only going to take 1 star off, but still write this review to emphasize the point for others. Otherwise I like everything else about these glasses. The look, the weight, the soft feel of the engraved glass, etc. If they sold a set that was clear, I would buy those. ... show more
