They didn't cut smoothly. I'm a hairdresser and bought these just taking a chance. I usually spend $500-$1000 on my shears, but I was just curious. All I could find were thinning shears. Texturing shears were recommended on a youtube video. I have fine hair and was a little worried. I love them.
