I was able to achieve what I wanted with these texturizing scissors. Having an area of my hair that grows in thicker than other ares these scissors keep it even. Takes some getting use to in handling, I have small hands. I tried using thinning shears awhile back, did not like them as the blades are closer together and pulled my hair.

They didn't cut smoothly. I'm a hairdresser and bought these just taking a chance. I usually spend $500-$1000 on my shears, but I was just curious. I thought it would be nice to find a cheap pair that I could recommend to clients who cut their own bangs (they all do it at some point lol). Not going to be recommending these.

*update* I bought these in Jan 2023. It is now Dec 2023 and I love these! Fine haired lady here... And I I think they're great. Purchased these for DIY haircuts. All I could find were thinning shears. Texturing shears were recommended on a youtube video. I have fine hair and was a little worried. I love them. Sharp enough and enjoyed them more than the straight shears I have from a different company.

I recently began cutting my own hair at home. I needed scissors that were not going to be cheap but also not break the bank. Everyone knows how important good scissors are to cutting hair if you’ve ever cut hair. These work great for giving texture to my pixie cut and also blending lines as I’m cutting. Would definitely recommend this as a budget friendly sharp nice cutting scissor .
