Everything about these shears scream quality. The finish is flawless and there is no drag when the blades come together with tension set to standards. There is zero slippage and the cuts are straight. The balance of the shears in your hand is superb and the angle of the thumb bow is perfect. Needless to say, these blades are incredibly sharp. I actually shaved some hair off my forearm using them like a razor. These are the finest shears I have ever owned so far, with longevity being the only thing in question. Man I love these shears! They feel soooo good in your hand. They cut like razors, sliding and point cutting and texturizing and everything you want them to do - perfectly. I have bigger fingers and immediately appreciate the larger openings these come with. If you've purchased shears made overseas you have found out that often the thumb and finger holes can be a little smaller than preferred. Not the case with these! These fit us people with bigger fingers and thumbs really well! They come with 2 different size inserts included so if you happen to have thinner fingers you will be able to get a custom, perfect fit as well. I have been using them now for several days and I'm just delighted with how well they cut! They are strong but still light. They cut smoothly and perfectly and slice through any hair you throw at them. If you want a little boost of confidence to make the purchasing decision easier for you here it is. I needed a good pair of shears for cutting my own hair at home. I was tired of paying the big city price just for a trim on my long hair. I did lots of research on which shears i should get. I also ran these by my best friend who is a cosmetologist (lives 3 hours away). She said these were actually amazing shears and great quality. I have been a stylist for 23 years & over the years I have spent so much money on shears. These shears very affordable and better quality than most of my expensive shears that are name brand. They are a little heavy, that is my only complaint. ⚠️WARNING ⚠️ They are very sharp!!!! I had no idea how sharp they were until I was doing a point cut and hardly grazed my finger and it was cut really badly. This is definitely not a bad thing. I love how sharp they are but had no idea shears could be so sharp just to the touch. The media could not be loaded. I was using my usual Tondeo and decided to try with Hitachi Japanese scissors, let me tell you, it was absolutely the right decision, the cut is precise and smooth, they feel sturdy, high quality materials, seems is going to last. Plus great customer service.
