I purchased this for my teen daughter’s top bunk. She wanted a thin mattress that she could just chill on an wasn’t thick like a normal mattress. This was perfect an what she was looking for. She’s even fallen asleep on it and said it’s more comfortable than what she thought. I will say it’s definitely not 4 inches thick like they say. But it’s quite dense in material that makes it comfortable. I would buy again if I needed another.

I’m genuinely shocked at how much I love this - I use it as my everyday mattress. My back pain from sleeping on a marshmallow-ish memory foam mattress has been completely resolved. The Twin size mattress is a Twin XL in reality, which is great (pay attention to the measurements in the description). The quality of the futon itself appears fine, but the cover’s seams are poor workmanship, which I expected. Hasn’t made much of a difference yet, but might just use my sewing machine to reinforce seams one day. Firm but good firm. My mother thinks I’m insane for sleeping on this but honestly, as long as you have carpet or a rug underneath, you’re fine. I put a standard thin mattress pad/cover under the futon cover for a little bit of extra cushion as I acclimatize to a much harder sleeping surface. My back is so far very thankful.

I got this product to stop sleeping on the couch, so I wouldn’t be on the floor with just a blanket & have to go thru the blowing up of an air mattress everyday. This mattress is not 4in thick as stated, so that’s misleading, however for the price this was a good option. I have a mattress pad (1.25thick) + the floor mattress, combined they prob make 2-2.5in of thickness between the mat/floor. I do plan to get another mattress pad so it’ll be more comfortable for me. So if I just had this mattress I’d imagine it would be harder and a little less comfortable. For it to be used on the floor (in my case) it is surprisingly comfortable. I like the portable factor that it came with a bag & unattached straps. Since the bag I got came with the straps unattached I don’t have to use the bag really (which I don’t mind). It came with a black cover (that’s washable), I still used a full fitted sheet and it is accurate in size. Overall, it provides a good cushion between you & the floor/ground. It’s not super plush or a pillow top mattress so comfortability it all depends on you. If you like those types of mattresses then you prob should add a good mattress pad. So far so good, so in my case it beats having to blow up a mattress. I can roll this up and place it in a corner. Since it’s full size it’s a little bigger than I thought, it’s still a good portable mattress.

We got this for my son to transition him and his pointy elbows out of our bed. He and the toddler still wake each other up too much, so he needed something semi permanent but versatile for once he can go back in the other room. I love that this can roll up nice and compact so we could technically take this on trips. Plus he insists that we lay down with him to help him fall asleep, so of course we've fallen asleep on it too pretty often, and it sleeps pretty well for us too. He ends up rolling halfway off it half the time, so it's definitely a perk that he can't hurt himself with all that business. The dogs enjoy taking up whatever space he isn't using.

I first purchased this mattress partly out of necessity when I was single and broke and needed something easy to move around as roommate/apartment situations changed, and partly because I’d read about how sleeping on the floor was healthier. It suited both purposes. The second time I bought it was after I got married. My husband had bought a brand new SUPER EXPENSIVE bedroom set to surprise me before I moved in, turned out neither of us liked the super expensive bed and I begged him to give the floor mattress a chance. He begrudgingly agreed. Despite his skepticism, once he got used to the mattress (after a week or so), he was absolutely shocked at how much better his back pain got. To illustrate how much my skeptical husband loved it— when I was pregnant with our daughter this past year, at one point I decided I needed a less firm mattress due to the extra weight suddenly added to my body. It made it harder for me to get up and down. I went back to the expensive bed and invited my husband to come with. After just one night, he apologized tearfully and said he just could not do it and needed to sleep on the floor because his back needed the support. In any case, pregnancy mattress needs are ever shifting and so it wasn’t long til my planetary self was back on the floor too! Now for the third purchase of this mattress— our daughter is finally here, and I stay home while my husband works full time. Nightly wakes aren’t good for him, I always was taking our daughter out of the room because he needs rest for his very physical job. To avoid needlessly waking him, I started to sleep on the futon next to her bassinet in the next room, but my entire body was killing me softly 🥲 so I bought the full size version of this mattress! My old trusty mattress now exists as a king size in our marital bedroom, a full size in the baby’s room, and my brother now has my first twin size mattress in his apartment. By the way, it’s firm enough for baby’s tummy time! She also loves kicking and playing in her “baby gym” on it while I sit and fold laundry on it next to her while I watch YouTube or listen to a podcast. Amazing purchase!
