Nice application, deep dark black and long lasting (not water proof or tear proof, so if you have watery eyes or plan to swim be aware). A little hard to remove with just soap and water (which if you have allergies you most likely only use soap and water). WHEN FRESH — This is a great mascara. It doesn’t melt or smudge. Looks better than anything else on the market. However the formula is fragile and easily coagulates. The company doesn’t have expiration dates on the boxes so Amazon sells old ones that are dried and coagulated. The tubes sold on Amazon are unusable. Buy it ONLY direct from the company.

This mascara is quite amazing; it applies smoothly and adds a lot of volume to my lashes. It's really simple to remove with makeup remover wipes and stays on all day without flaking. It makes my eyelashes appear longer. It was a non-clumping composition that did not burn my eyes. I'm usually sensitive to mascara, but this one worked well for me. The pure black hue has a striking appearance. The package is lovely.

I have used this brand for years, except different formula I guess. Always used the one in the gold squeezable tube. Never clumps. This one did. So bad I threw it in the trash! Awful!

I have used various Jane Iredale products, and I don’t know a one that I didn’t either really like, or flat out love. Yes, the ticket prices may be a bit higher than what you might be used to, but the quality is far surpassed anything you’ll find in your local drug stores. I’ll always pay for quality cosmetics, and Jane Iredale definitely IS quality. I can’t take off anything (rating wise) for price, as the price matches the quality. They go hand in hand, and when that happens, and when I can predict myself shelling out the money to repurchase, the rating can not be lowered due to price. Hoping that makes sense. I don’t use mascara everyday, and the reason why is nasty CLUMPS!! I’ve lost lots of eye lashes trying to get mascara clumps off, over the years. And my second reason is, I have very sensitive, dry eyes. They get irritated and turn red at times, from mascara. Bummer, as who doesn’t want nice long lashes. I can’t get lash extensions due to this either 😢. This is why I love this mascara so much, even at sticker price. It’s worth the $. I did not get nasty clumps when I used it last night and again this morning. Amen, hallelujah!!!!! Lots of mascaras SAY they are clump-free, but few actually prove it. This mascara lifts and separates, giving you naturally long and lovely lashes. They don’t look fake and spider-like. They look lovely and luscious, without all that cakey mess! Also, I was most pleasantly surprised by the rarity of the product, not making my very, super sensitive eyes all irritated and miserable. In the name of beauty I often take the risk, and remember why I don’t do it daily, pretty quickly, so this is my go to now for my mascara. It’s not an insane amount of glam, but it definitely works well at giving you beautifully enhanced lashes, no clumps, no burning eyes! It’s a winner! 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I hope that my review has been helpful to you :).

I am absolutely in love with this Jane Iredale Beyond Lash Volumizing Mascara. I am picky about mascara and would rather not wear it at all if I don't have just the right one to use. I hate large, clunky, awkward brushes and mascara that tries to do too much. This one was JUST RIGHT!! As you can see from the image in the product description, the brush is basic - not huge, funny shaped, or special in any way. It's perfect for my needs and spreads the mascara on my lashes evenly without clumping. I love it! This isn't going to give you lash drama so if you are used to the appearance of fake lashes, this may not provide enough oomph for you. I don't do false lashes and don't want to replicate that look so this is just my speed. Noticeable but still fairly natural. It has buildable coverage which is nice. Some mascaras get gummy after applying multiple coats. My lashes are left looking bolder and more defined. I have wimpy lashes so I always like to add a little extra pizazz to my eye makeup routine. I love that the mascara lasts all day without flaking or wearing off. At the end of the day, it still looks just as good as it did when I first applied it. It is easy to remove, unlike many waterproof mascaras.
