This isn't a bad helmet considering the extremely economical price. yes, the padding is a little thin and not of the highest quality but for occasional off-road (only) use, it's a fine helmet. The quick release latch is better than what I would have expected and better than what I have seen on $150.00 helmets. It's hard plastic and seems to latch securely. There is a very pronounced ridge on the back of the helmet that goes a long way towards keeping your goggles in place. What you give up in a helmet at this price is a durable liner, a more tailored fit and better padding. I found that there was a hard spot right at the top of my ears but I was able to adjust the liner and largely eliminated it. It lacks padding around your jaw and cheeks. I wouldn't recommend this for any high speed riding or racing, the padding is inadequate but as a passenger helmet for your side-by-side or someone just learning to ride and speeds will be modest, it's a good entry level helmet. ... show more

Only been out in this once. It’s lightweight, maybe even too lightweight, my head was bobbing around with the wind more than with my other helmets. Other than that, no complaints.

Great helmet it's super comfortable it's easy to put on and take off. It's not overly hot to wear and it looks badarse. Seems like it's made well outta decent materials and has a fantastic chin strap latch it's super easy to buckle and unbuckle

It is DOT approved, and has a padded interior and adjustable strap system. The helmet also has multiple vents that help to keep me cool and comfortable. I totally love the matte black finish and that it is a great value for the price. What I like: The Look: The Flat Black Matte Finish is Awesome DOT approved: The JAGASOL helmet is DOT approved, which means it meets or exceeds the safety standards set by the Department of Transportation. Comfortable: The helmet has a padded interior and a adjustable strap system, making it comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Ventilation: The helmet has multiple vents that help to keep the rider cool and comfortable. Affordable: The JAGASOL helmet is very affordable, making it a great value for the price.
