This Jaco tire pressure gauge is without question the best air pressure gauge that I've ever owned and might be the best gauge on the market. The automatic lock feature is a tremendous innovation and breakthrough for ease of use. Also, the bleeder valve combines two functions into one. You no longer have to use a separate tool to bleed air pressure from the tire and then re-check the pressure. The tool also comes with an excellent case, and the price is very reasonable. It doesn't make sense to buy anything else, and I will never use a different gauge again.

I'm pretty impressed with this unit so far. I returned a digital model previous for inconsistent readings. Put new set of tires on Subaru Forester got bad seal on its aluminum rims AND my old JACO gauge won't fit new valve stems!*%^&%^&$. Quite a struggle but they seem to be holding air better after a month??? The ElitePro-X comes with a nice color picture telling you how to use it. I do NOT use it that way. Everybody complains about hitting the air release when you disconnect from the valve stem, cause doing it like the pic shows will cause this. The gauge buttons can be rotated to any position you want them BEFORE you force it onto the stem. I can't show you a pic, would need a third hand for camera, but the release button should face you, force the gauge onto the stem with your right hand, press the release button with your left to disconnect. Easey peasy, no air leak. I can't say how accurate the gauge is, but so far it is consistent, which is what I value. It is also the same reading as my new Fanttik X9 Apex tire inflator ($90) (did I mention how much these new tires have been frustrating me?) The air bleed valve seems excellent for fine tuning the pressure down (the inflator doesn't like increasing by 1 psi increments) I plan to keep gauge in the house, not the car for consistent temps and no bumps or jars. Only 4 stars because of big price and no replacement end.

Nicely made, I have a bunch of digital ones I carry on all my motorcycle. I purchased a tire changer so I wanted a good pressure gauge to complement the tire machine. I’m pleased, for one reason it lets you bleed off air if you over fill the tire. It takes the guess work out of getting the exact pressure. Well made.
