First off, skates in general seem to run large yet narrow. I wear a 9.5 shoe, regular width. (In shoes that don't have half-sizes, I wear a 10.) With skates, I have what are considered to be wide feet. (This is a common shoe-to-skate conversion: having normal-width shoes but needing wide-width skates.) At any rate, I just want to help people with sizing. I ordered these skates in a 9, and they fit perfectly with a nice pair of cushy, thick socks. I knew, based on my experience with skates, that the 10s would be too big. The 9s are great. I hope this is helpful info! I love these skates! They came sharpened in a way that is great for my somewhat-beginner skating. They're pretty with the purple, and I love the silver detailing. They feel good on my feet and have more support than I thought a beginner skate would have (albeit, I am a beginning skater). The only flaw is that the upper sides (where the metal lace-holders are) are bent out too wide. This is readily fixed by tightening your laces extra tight. I'm not sure if the flimsy white/purple laces that came with these skates would be up to it, but I use my own laces anyway. If you get thick hockey laces like I use, they help keep your skates tightened. (I don't know of any skate on the market that comes with substantial laces, so I'm hesitant to remove a star for it.) For these skates, I'd recommend using 108" hockey laces, which come in many pretty colors. ... show more

Great support on ankle and above. The blades glide magnificently! They are lined! This is the first time I quit skating because I was tired instead of because my feet were frozen. These are the skates to buy if you actually want to skate out of doors. Stars in my eyes!

i’m not kidding when i say my feet were so warm! not sweating but i was able to feel my toes for the whole 3 hours of outdoor skating i did! the ankle support is really good too but me personally, i like my skates lose. i think they are totally worth the price and the skates just look too quality on the ice! super comfortable for long skating ... show more

We ordered the pink skates as shown and received the purple interior. Unfortunately, we were desperate for proper size skates, so my daughter decided to use the purple. The size was correct. They are excellent quality skates. If we had received the pink interior, I would have given FULL stars! Something to be aware of-My daughter wears a size 11/12 but in this skate we had to go up to a 1(due to the comfort padding) but given how pleased she if to wear them and how much more comfortably she skates-I have Zero issues with this. (Personal note- a serious let down for me as a birthday gift for her when she was excited about the pink ones.) ... show more
