  • Small but plays big!
These minion basses are absolutely perfect for me and I'm not a kid. I'm a 6ft tall older man and the full scale basses are heavy and hard on my shoulders and back. These Jacksons are perfect for me. They play very nice after a quick setup. This is my 2nd one. I have the white and the black. I can't say anything bad about them....I absolutely love em. If you had one in a decent red with a maple fretboard I'd probably have 3. (HINT HINT) ... show more

  • It's pretty cool
It plays rather well, I haven't plugged in yet, but it came packaged up very good. So far I'm satisfied.edit I just plugged it in and it sounds as good as my charvette, I personally feel I got a little more than I paid for. I've been playing 30ish years, it's going to be great for my grandkids if they can get it out of my hands lol ... show more

  • There's a Better Alternative
This is a decent ultra short-scale bass, but at the same price and size, the Ibanez Mikro bass is superior. The Mikro's tone is far louder and fuller and punchier than the comparatively anemic Jackson, and the rounded body edges make it more ergonomic for seated playing. Where the Jackson wins is in looks (assuming you want a bass that screams "metal"), thanks to the black hardware and shark fin inlays. The control knobs are smoother and sturdier than the cheap-feeling Ibanez knobs. At the end of the day, though, the Ibanez, which is probably the closest direct competition for this bass, is the better sounding by far. ... show more

  • Great guitar!
My adult son had this guitar on his wish list for Christmas, and it is one of his favorite gifts. As an experienced musician, he thinks the sound and size of this guitar are amazing! I like the price-point, too. I highly recommend this guitar.

  • Love it
Can't put it down my long scale bass is mad at me

  • Love it!
Versatile bass for those of us who have small hands and don’t want to play an instrument as large as we are. The sound quality is amazing but there is a little bit of fret buzz and the action could be better. The deep pickup is a little less than desired but overall it’s a great bass.
