Nice Jackson bass for the price. The body is lightweight and I love that it has 24 jumbo frets. Shipping was quick. Securely packaged. Guitar was assembled, but was in no way set up. Completely unplayable out of the box. I know how to set up a guitar so it wasn’t a big deal for me, but a beginner would’ve had to have someone set it up for them. There was also a bunch of dried adhesive on the body of the bass. It took a few minutes to wipe that gunk off. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. ... show more

Very basic (or bassic lol) guitar. Nothing crazy, no built in EQ pots. Good construction. Love the Jackson neck. Makes shredding easy. Perfect for a beginner.
