I couldn't be happier with this portable charger. Not only can you use a solar panel but also you can plug it in to charge. It charges so much at once and shows the watts its using, I was hesitant in spending so much money on this one charger but when I got it and used it I was totally shocked with what it does. It's small so you can take it anywhere. I bought the bag to protect it more and it has it to where you can charge even in the bag, Love that. The solar works great. While you are charging it you can see too how much. Well worth the price. Ive researched a lot of others and I am pleased with this one. Alway remember if something doesn't work like you think it should doesn't mean it's not a good product. The battery life is amazing. I used it a lot throughout the day and the last day I ran a fan on it all day. We still ended up having some battery life when we got home. It’s easy to use. Easy to understand. It’s not too heavy and easy to store. I would recommend this over and over again. It is expensive for it but I would buy it again if given the opportunity ... show more

Took this with me on an 8 day overlanding trip to keep my 12v car fridge running on the over-nights. While driving, I had the car charge the Jackery and run the fridge. When I would park, I would plug the fridge directly into the Jackery. Even after 10-12 hours, it would use less than 1/2 the battery and hold the 30 degrees I had it set too. The 40 watt panel is good quality, but 40 watts of charging doesn't do much - though it would be more than ample to keep some cell phones, tablets and lights charged up! Great product. Only downfall is the 40w solar charger will not bring this product to a full charge in one day. Possibly operator error but I’d suggest a 100w solar charger with this generator.

I bought this system to put in my small camper van. It works so well. Easy to use. The solar panel works great, though it takes a good while in direct sun to fully charge the bank from empty. I can also charge it while driving through the power outlet in the van. I primarily use it to run a USB fan at night, charge my cellphone and computer. It can do all the above for 2-3 days before needing charged. Super reliable power source for off grid/vanlife or as a backup for power outages. It’s small, the size of a lunchbox, so portable and doesn’t take up much precious storage space. Highly recommend. ... show more

    • DO NOT BUY FOR CPAP MACHINE USE

DO NOT buy this if you plan on using it for a CPAP machine. It is promoted as "serving as a dependable cpap battery for camping" but I've used it twice now for my CPAP machine (Resmed 11) and both times I've woken up in the middle of the night GASPING for air because the battery itself has TURNED OFF and my CPAP machine has turned off on me and my air flow is gone. It didn't turn off because the battery was empty since I checked both times and the battery still had 55% and 62% battery life left for each time. The battery just turned off like it went to sleep. I would NEVER buy this battery if you are planning on using for a CPAP machine during camping. It's one thing to have it turn off while charging your laptop, but to turn off while powering your CPAP machine is not acceptable. Now I have to find a different battery so I can use it for my CPAP machine while camping. ... show more
