  • Works, giving me a little more play to keep the solar panel out of sight
I used this to have a little more room to move the solar panel. I use the Jackery battery inside a Cottage on Wheels I built to use at re-enactments, so the cable has to also be long enough to go inside.

  • Nice cable, worth the money.
Jackery is starting to win me over. Purchased for my Explorer 1000 and 100w solar panel to give me a longer cord at the campgrounds. I was impressed, the quality of the cable it top shelf and I don't expect it to ever give me troubles. I would recommend to a friend.

  • OEM equipment, recommend
Great quality, I like that the color stands out and is easy to see so people don't trip or snag on it. A little pricey but worth it.

  • Veru useful, on the pricey side
Still a mystery why Jackery uses an uncommon 8mm connector for DC power...but setting that aside, this turned out to be useful for keeping a Jackery Explorer power station near the loads (in the shade) while the solar panels are several yards away in a sunny spot. It also gives the freedom to move the panels from time to time during the day, to follow the sun. But wait, there's another benefit - making it easier to connect 3rd party solar panels to a Jackery power bank. In my case I've used these cables to connect to rigid-glass panels that can tolerate being left out in the rain (unlike Jackery's premium-priced panels). I bought two of these as a business expense, and nobody gave me any trouble about the price. If I were buying gear just for myself, it seems all the integrated solar-generator products are too costly for me to consider. But I expect that people who will be using the various Jackery gear that I bought will need an integrated unit that's easy to hook up, with cables that are made for the purpose. Likewise, easy to tear down, stow, and transport. Still, if you're handy with electronics I recommend you can save money and/or get more watts/watt-hours by just using separate components - LiFePo4 battery, solar charge controller, inverter, USB dongle, etc. ... show more

  • Helpful extension to connect solar panels to the Jackery Explorer 2000
Heavy duty extension for conveniently connecting Solar Saga panels to the Jackery Explorer 2000 plus

  • Must use along with 2 meter extension cable (included with panels) to attach to SolarSaga 80W panels
Just a heads up for others with the same equipment. I have the Jackery Explorer 1000pro which I purchased in a package with two of the 80W SolarSaga solar panels. The male 8mm connector attached to the panel has the thicker style middle pin. This 5M extension cable has the smaller middle pin on the female end so they will not plug together. The 80W panels come with a 2 meter extension cable. Those have the thicker style pin middle pin on the female end as well as an adapter on the male end that lets you attach either style 8MM pin connector. To connect everything you end up having to use that adapter so you end up with a bit of a goofy right angle connection between the 2M and 5M extension cables but at least it works to connect without any additional adapters needing to be purchased. So to summarize, for at least the 80W panels you need to connect (80w panel -> 2M extension cable (included with panel) -> 5M extension cable -> Jackery) Hope this helps. ... show more
