Pretty pricey, but they are high quality and very comfortable. They do a phenomenal job blocking out background noise, both noise that you hear and blocks background noise from the microphone.

The sound quality is top notch however I was very disappointed in the microphone noise cancellation tech. I now just use the headset for sound and setup a Shure mic with a Scarlet Solo. What the headset does well: Sound quality - calls, and media sound great ANC (not mic noise cancelling) - Looking to block out noise, these do a great job Connecting to multiple devices - I connect this to my PC and phone all day. I only have an issue sometimes with my PC connection. What it doesn't do well: Blocking out fan background noise The mute button on the mic arm is a pain to get to.     • Very Flawed for the Price

These headphones, when they work, are merely ok. The best part is they support my employer's weird remote work systems. The battery life is decent too. But for the price, I expect more. For one, they have horrendous audio delay, probably upwards of 250 ms. That's enough to be super-distracting when teleconferencing, when your speaker's mouth doesn't sync up with their words. Another fatal issue, is they will randomly drop connections, forcing my machine to spew out sounds from the speakers. Not amazing when there are potentially confidential stuffs being sent out to everyone within hearing. They also feel incredibly cheaply made. For the price, I expected much better. Finally, the ANC on them is pretty terrible compared to my super ancient Bose QuietComfort IIs, let alone much more modern implementations. When the ANC engages and disengages, when the bluetooth works and doesn't is spotty at best, and the microphone sometimes now drops without warning. ... show more

I work on the phone at least half of the day. And having a hands free headset is a necessity The anc works pretty well but what I am most impressed about is the sound quality. When using the dongle I can walk around from my office to my back deck to let my pets in and out and not miss a beat. The charging stand is neat but the magnets need to be stronger as it always falls off the stand or when I set it in the stand it stays in it but doesn’t make a good connection ... show more

Jabra Evolve2 85 UC + USB-C + Stand I had high expectations for this headset because this year I need to be able to conduct client Zoom calls with unusually noisy construction noise as the backdrop (not acceptable). Experimented this week. For comparison, I had the Apple airpods pro 3, which I did not think will do (and why I got the Jabra 85uc) were shockingly amazing to me: listeners on calls did not hear very loud drilling and hammering noice near by, and the noise level in my ears was tolerable (as opposed to supper worrisome without any ear protection). Remember - no 10 mic boom-mic, no over the ear isolation. The Jabra 85s were incredibly disappointing: The noise in my ears was louder, and listeners could hear faint construction, as well as breathing and swallowing sounds. The charging stand is fussy and not easy to use. I'd say it is actually very difficult to use - returning the headset to this cradle takes two hands and fiddling around, so I was concerned I might damage the folding mechanism of the headset.. Overall, I expected a lot more from a product that costs significantly more than the airpods pro 3. Instead, it is expensive, cumbersome to use and just not so good at its number 1 job- noise-cancellation. The pro 3 is an example that it is possible to create a product like that without the fuss and expense of a large headset. Fortunately, I'm able to return the Jabra. If there is a product BETTER than the pro 3's, I'd love your recommendations. ... show more

    • Solid headphones overall, with a few odd quirks

I really like the headphones. I use them every day for work. Sound insulation, clarity of sound from the boom mic, battery life, comfort, etc. are all great. They are one of the only headphones I could find with bluetooth, ANC, and a boom mic. When I'm on calls, people can have loud conversations in the same room as me and no one can hear them on the other end. There are a couple things that are oddly annoying, though. - I have my headphones paired to both my phone (iPhone) and my laptop (mac) directly (not using the jabra dongle). When connected to both and listening to music on my laptop, the music occasionally (every couple minutes) stutters for a second (and even causes my BT mouse on my laptop to stutter). It's annoying. - Sometimes when audio is starting or stopping on my laptop (Youtube Shorts, etc) I will lose audio. If I wait for 10 seconds or so then my laptop will show that my headphones are not connected. If I physically turn off the headphones, they will stay on for 5sec. or so before I hear them turn off, then I can turn them back on and they will reconnect. I contacted Jabra once about this, and they told me they only support their devices connected to their own bluetooth dongle. Since I don't use the dongle, I'm out of luck. When I have tried to use the dongle in the past, the range was poor - plus it's a device sticking out of my laptop that I'm afraid is going to break when I put it in and out of my backpack, etc. I've just decided to live with it, and occasionally disable BT on my phone so it doesn't interrupt my music. They say they can't control every manufacturer's BT hardware - which I get, but never had another device do this. ... show more

Purchased this headset to combat the noisiness of the office setting, and the discomfort of other on-ear headsets that are offered. The audio quality of the microphone is awesome, and the built in mute function when raising the microphone is very beneficial. Additionally, the red indicators on the earpieces are great for the "sorry, on the call" response to poorly timed questions.
