Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have had them less that a year and the microphone boom arm snapped off with general use. One of the reasons I bought this headset was because of the protected boom arm when not in use.

Llevo poco mas de un año utilizando los audífonos y cumplen perfectamente con las funciones de cancelacion de ruido durante videollamadas o simplemente para aislarte en sitios muy concurridos mientras reproduces algun contenido como musica, videos, podcast, etc. Regularmente tengo enlazados al mismo tiempo mi teléfono móvil y una laptop a los audífonos 🎧 para responder en cualquiera de los dos dispositivos, el único inconveniente de esto es que si una segunda llamada entra, pone en pausa la sesion en la que estabas mientras rechazas la llamada entrante. La app no la utilizo excepto para mantener actualizado el firmware, ya que los botones de la diadema te permiten cambiar fácilmente entre las funciones de cancelacion de ruido, escuchar a través o ruido normal. El micrófono es facil de utilizar o deslizar dentro de la diadema cuando no se usa y el sonido es muy claro para las personas del otro lado de la llamada. Aunque las almohadillas para las orejas son cómodas, si cansan después de varias horas de uso. El estuche de viaje es muy rigido para protegerlos de golpes y fácil de guardar, pero es de un tamaño mediano, aunque si es fácil de transportar en una backpack o hasta en bolsas de mano. ... show more

I was in the market for a new headset so a colleague of mine recommended the Jabra EVOLVE2 85 and I am really glad he did. First off, I realize that the features on the headset are extremely important but so is comfort. When you wear a headset most of the day I really think that comfort is right up there with sound quality (which is very good by the way). The Jabra definitely exceeded my expectations for fit and comfort. This headset is perfect for working from home. I can basically go to any room in my house and still hear and speak with no audio issues. I love the mics mute feature, All you have to do is put the retractable mic back in its place. The only problem I have with this head set are the settings. We use the Jabber soft phone on our laptops. At times it seems that the the Jabra headset which is paired with Jabber phone competes with the Microsoft Teams audio which usually happens based on the settings. All in all its a pretty nice headset and a good value. for the money. ... show more

    • At this price, I expect it to function properly

For a premium price I expect a premium experience. At least two advertised features do not work: Sidetone and Hearthrough. Both of these features affect your ability to hear your own voice and ambient sound in the environment around you. I have read on some forums from other users that these features stopped working with a firmware update. Unfortunately, I bought this product recently and that was the current firmware version. When in a call, you cannot hear your own voice which makes it impossible to speak clearly. I wear my headset all the time, even when not in a call. I cannot hear other people talking to me or other sounds in my environment when there is no sound coming from any device. I contacted Jabra Enterprise support and their suggestion was to factory reset the device which did not fix the problem. The next suggestion was to return the headset for a refund which I am considering before my 30 day return window expires. Very expensive headphone are definitely not worth the price. If I get a fix before returning, I will update this review. ... show more

It’s an okay headset. It’s comfortable but makes you hot fairly quickly. Definitely not worth the asking price. The mic looks cool at first but when you actually use it, it’s a nightmare. You can’t mute it easily as the mute button is located on the actual mic, which causes noise as you are trying to find the small button. The flip to mute is not easy either as the mic has to do a turn first and then be flipped. Mute button on the ear cup would have been so much better. ANC is good until you realize you can’t use it with side tone. When you have side tone on and you unmute yourself ANC is turned off automatically. Side tone is a joke. Even on the loudest setting you can barely hear yourself. Jabra support told me that my unit must be defective and urged me to return it. When you read the forums you will see this as a big complaint, so I don’t think it’s a unit issue. Teams integration is a miss as well. The headphones glow purple at all times when connected to teams which effects battery life. When you look at the documentation only the usb link should glow solid purple when connected to teams and not the headset. Notifications don’t make the headset blink purple like advertised either. Only thing that works is pressing the teams button brings teams to the foreground. Not sure who thought that’s useful feature but okay cool. Music sounds good but randomly turns to mono sound and thinks you are on a call (headphones glow red) after the call has ended. Only way it works is if you turn the headset off and then back on. The play, volume up and down buttons are tiny. Very annoying to find. Not sure why they chose this design. Overall, it’s not a bad headset by any means and one can get used to the flaws and possibly live with them but for the asking price, I don’t think it’s worth it. ... show more
