  • Nearly perfect!
Size: USB-C & Charging Cord Color: Black
Was looking for: - All day comfort (on-the-ear, but the cushions are amazingly soft) - Cool on the ears - Good noise control on the mic - Good sound on the mic - Portable - Reliable connectivity (either through the Bluetooth dongle or USB-C, both work great!) - Long battery life - Physical mute (you fold up the mic) - Comfort is good while wearing glasses. The Evolve2 65 Flex headphones delivered! Bonuses: The audio quality is pretty good, enough to enjoy music if I have a break. The (wool?) case is very convenient and seems durable (had it for a month or so of hot-desk use (where I pack-up every day), still looks new). The bluetooth dongle is small and very effective (the head-set prefers it to the phone, so if my laptop is on, that's where my audio connects even if my phone is on). The "Soundscape" included in the phone app (built-in looped sounds: rain, thunder, waves, fans, waterfall, etc.) is a wonderful calm oasis in the middle of a busy day or noisy room. It does all the things I need it to. Improvements? They could be a -little- more comfy if they were around the ear and not on the ear. The noise cancelling is so-so (I mean, they are on the ear, so they have that to deal with. Not as good as Sony over the ear or in-ear (both of which I own from the 2023 gen of those products)). I usually set them to "off" and that actually blocks more of the chatter in the room than the ANC. YMMV. Overall love them though. The Sony products I mentioned did not give me the comfort or reliability I needed for a full work day. The Jabra headset definitely does. Highly recommend for a long day at an on-the-phone job. (I am on the phone 90-100% of an 8 hour day 5 days a week) in an office. They are not tight enough for on-the-go work I would say. So if you are on flights/moving around a lot, these likely would slip off (again, they are on-the-ear). Really wish I could give 4.8, I think that's more accurate. They are not perfect, but they do the job very well so gave 5 because that's closer to how I feel about them. ... show more

  • Microphone too inconsistent and frustrating to be worth it. Would not recommend.
Size: USB-C & Charging Cord Color: Black
Just got off a call where the person on the other end was complaining that my voice was very quiet and difficult to understand. I switched to the phone mic, spoke at the same level, and the other party was very grateful. I've grown to be rather frustrated with this headset since my priority when making the purchase was to improve my voice quality in calls. --- Update after 3 months of use: I've started hearing complaints from colleagues more frequently that my microphone cuts out during meetings. This is while in a quiet room with no background noise that needs cancelling, so it shouldn't be an overzealous voice isolation feature. This choppiness occurs whether using it with a straight Bluetooth connection to my laptop or with the USB-C dongle. It seems that giving the mic a little flick 'fixes' it briefly when it flares up. --- Original review: I have another pair of Jabra Elite 7 Pro earbuds, but coworkers regularly commented that my voice quality was poor on calls either on Zoom, Teams, Slack Huddles, or on the phone. So I picked these up. Made the purchase on Jan 2 at a sale price of $187.70, which I see as an excellent value. In short, my goal of improving on the Elite 7 Pro was absolutely met. - I prefer the sound that comes from the Evolve2 65 Flex for music, and the voice quality on the other side is significantly improved. - ANC is fine but not fantastic, and I find that to be acceptable. - The voice isolation when I'm speaking is really good. - I haven't experienced any of the issues in other reviews about the mic cutting out--hoping that holds out! It seems this may be a byproduct of the voice isolation feature. The headset does a good job of cutting out background noise, and the speakers voice may be getting mixed in with the background that's cut. Not sure if this could be remedied by changing any settings with the headset or not, but I have not experienced this as a significant issue. I usually work in pretty quiet settings though and haven't had calls in wind or other more challenging situations yet. - Connecting the mic on Windows didn't happen automatically with direct Bluetooth as it did with the speakers (rather than the included Jabra adapter which is recommended). By that I mean the headset mic wasn't available in a Zoom call with the headset paired and connected. But this was through selecting the headset mic in the OS Sound Settings, making it available. I understand the benefits of using the Jabra adapter, but I like the convenience of a quick direct Bluetooth setup. ... show more

  • A huge comfort and sound quality upgrade
Size: USB-C & Charging Cord Color: Black
I am new to using headsets, and I think this is a great starting point for me. This headset provides excellent sound quality and superior comfort for all day wear. The ANC is as effective as any I have experienced, and the battery life has been very impressive so far. As a person who stutters, the ability to hear my own voice through the mic - the sidetone function I believe it's called- is really important, and so I really appreciate that feature. The mic seems to work very well - picks up my voice well and does an excellent job filtering out other noise. My fan is running pretty much constantly and I tested it to make sure that it wasn't picking up my keyboard or mouse sounds - pretty basic, but important stuff. I even tested it with finger snaps close to (but not directly into) the mic, knocking on my desk, and clattering my metal water bottle, etc. - none of that was picked up either, so it's very impressive in terms of isolating only your voice. One I will have to get used to is that all of those sounds *are* picked up in side tone (and relayed in the earphone) so it makes it a little unnerving to be able to separate what you are hearing vs. what other people are hearing. There is an option to play around with the sidetone settings, so I will likely do that to help with the adjustment. ... show more

  • Poor customer service
Size: USB-C & Charging Cord Color: Black
I called in on the 32nd day of owning this headphones because I was having charging issues. The man that took my call told me to keep the headphones and just buy a new charger. I took his advice and I still have the same issues but now I'm being told I should've returned them when I had a chance to. I told them I was told to buy a new charger. I spent $229 on these headphones that I need every day for my work but now I was told sorry you are out of luck. I bought a great quality headphones from the largest company in the world but yet I'm SOL. PISS POOR customer service. ... show more

  • Finally a pair that works
Size: USB-C & Charging Cord Color: Black
I have finally found a pair that work and are reliable. Have tried so many blue tooth models and most of them had short battery life or simply wouldn't connect consistently. I have had these for about a month and I have forgotten to plug them in at the end of the day and still work for my 1st morning the next day. Range enough for me to walk my house and do laundry while the folks are work yammer on about nothing. Love the mute options. Comfortable to wear but slip a little you move your head a little quickly. Don't look down too quickly while in the restroom ;). ... show more

  • Breat battery life and noise cancelling, middling comfort and sound quality.
Size: USB-C & Charging Cord Color: Black
I bought this alongside a Poly Voyager Focus 2 to try out for work. I ended up keeping both. The Evolve2 65 Flex has excellent noise cancelling (and I mean WOW! Excellent!). That said, it gets uncomfortable over long periods, the ear cups aren't that great, and the sound quality is just okay under normal circumstances. When mic and audio are sharing the sound channel, the quality goes to downright poor. Odd, as that was never an issue with my old Evolve 75. Mic seems better technically than on the old Evolve 75, but I'm not a fan of the short mic or how it flips up. Overall this is a decent value though, if for the noise cancelling alone. Would be amazing if you had to use in a noisy environment. By contrast, the Poly Voyager Focus 2 was basically the opposite. Very comfortable, great sound quality, but the noise canceling was much poorer than I expected. ... show more

  • Not reliable. Bluetooth cuts out. Sound like a robot (however very comfortable)
Size: USB-C & Charging Cord Color: Black
i wanted to love this device but it is not reliable. Cons: - people say they can't hear me and the the mic cuts out for ~3-5 seconds at a time - people say i sound like a robot and that the voice slows down and doesn't match my mouth moving. Then it goes high pitched and speeds up to catch up. ^these happened 5-6 times in a 45 min phone call yesterday. - the range is standard bluetooth range. They try to make it sound longer but it will work like any other bluetooth device you've used in terms of range. - sounds is not as good as other jabra headphones - "side tone" is less on these headphones vs others. If side tone is important for you, these are right right for you. Pros: - it's very light and comfortable - compact, case I submitted a support ticket with jabra. After troubleshooting, they sent me another unit. However, they have the exact same problem so I'm returning them to Amazon. ... show more

Size: USB-C & Charging Cord Color: Black
after 8 hours of research and many youtube this is the best ANC mic... really works great in noise coffee shop enviroments with side talking and music... so it works great for zoom and googe meet calls... as well as on my iphone 16 calls.... compared to airpod max pro... cons weak volume for youtube videos (which is strange cause calls come in pretty loud) on top ear design -- you get can hear more outside noise, however anc mic work excellent filters all noise to the other side of your call or zoom call. i wish i could make the speaker louder.. music sound quality is 6 out 10. pros light.... charges fast there - Jabra Evolve2 85 over the ear apparently mic is not as good as flex 65!?!? i wish they fixed 85... i got this because amazon was the seller so i could return it. so far i love it work needs... airpods max for non work comms ... show more
