Bought these to replace my Bose QC earbuds that died after only a year of use (contacted Bose and they only offered $50 off a new pair) after my experience with them I wanted something affordable but still decent quality and comfortable. These earbuds are great! I have smaller ears and they fit perfectly (unlike the Bose that always fell out) the setup was super easy, never even read any directions. I love these earbuds for running. They fit very well in the ear and they can support some water and sweat. Sound quality is awesome. The control button is a bit hard to push DO NOT IMMERGE !! I lost my previous set by accidentatlly leaving them in water for 30 mn. One survived, but not the other Finally, forget about noise cancellation. Okay, so I originally got a pair for my wife, and then she later got me a pair back. This was May 2022 and then June 2022. They seemed great. Awesome fit, good sound quality. I used them every single day. THEN the left earbud started losing volume. It would be drastically diminished, some times to the point of barely being able to hear it. It was NOT an obstruction, it was hardware. This happened to my pair in Dec 2022, so it didn't even make it 6 full months. Okay, stuff happens, I can deal with it. I contact Jabra support, they swapped it with very little questions, I'm happy again. Fast forward to May 2023 and the NEW pair--that they just swapped for me 5 months earlier--is now having an identical problem. Again I contact support, again it is pretty easy to get another pair to replace them. Next we come to Dec 2023 and I find out my wife's pair is having that exact same issue. She doesn't know how long its been going on because she had a ruptured ear drum and didn't realize the problem wasn't her. So, I'm gearing up to swap hers after the holidays. And then we hit January 2024 and mine, the THIRD pair is now having that exact same problem AGAIN. This is now 4 broken pairs in a year and a half. I did extensive testing on mine, and interestingly the left bud volume dims ONLY when in-ear. If i leave it out its fine, it dims after being in-ear for 30sec. I take it out and just let it sit there on the table. After about 5-10 min i notice the volume is fully functional again, put it back in my ear, and within 30sec its dimming again. Okay, this CLEARLY isn't a hardware failure. It seems more like a firmware bug. So i go back to support with this new found knowledge. Maybe I can help. Maybe we can get this issue identified and then actually fix it, since a 100% failure rate issue isn't good... and they ignored everything i said. They didn't answer a single question, they just replied with clearly copy/pasted form letter troubleshooting suggestions, like blaming it on earwax. They didn't overtly refuse to escalate my issue when I asked for it because they never actually spoke TO me, they spoke AT me, never addressing me or anything I said, but rather just responding with troubleshooting articles and hardware swap forms. And my 2 year warranty will be up in May and June, and when these 2 new pairs (that's 6 pairs if you aren't keeping track) most certainly break in 6 months AGAIN, I will be outside of the warranty window to resolve the clearly defective product issue. The product was great, until it wasn't. And the customer support experience became easily one of the worst I've ever had. DO NOT BUY. I can't speak for other buds brands, or if their customer support is just as bad, but I can certainly vouch that Jabra's support is horrible, and the Elite 4 Active has a cripplingly bad recurring failure. ... show more

first on line review for me. The Jabra active 4 ear pods have performed even beyond manufacturer's literature. I have used for heavy yard work, Planet fitness visits etc, with copious perspiration, never fall out. I use just one at a time, and each battery lasts up to 8 hours of playing before recharging. the storage case has its own battery that recharges both pods at least twice before needing to reconnect to USBC wire. But the most important surprise to me was the extreme water resistance . I washed pair of work pants with right earpod still in pocket, but after 1 day drying, it recharged and works perfectly. Yesterday, I dropped left earpod off the dock in 5 feet of water. But the bright mint color allowed me to see it settle on the bottom, and after about 5 LONG minutes, I was able to swish into a plastic bucket with a kayak paddle, lift to dock and left dry overnite. Today, was recharged and works perfectly ! I strongly recommend this product and if working around water, pick white or mint!! ... show more

These are great headphones for the cost. I’ve never been a fan of AirPods because I find them uncomfortable and I need to be able to sweat while running and have my headphones stay in place. These are GREAT. They are extremely comfortable. The microphone for calls is better than any wireless headphones I’ve ever owned. The noise canceling is great, but you can also use “hear through” for safety/driving etc. I highly recommend these for people who like to workout. ... show more

Didn't have much complaint for these earbuds until one decided to die. It still holds a charge and pairs with the charging case but no sound will come out at all. This is after almost daily use. I expected them to last longer but would consider buying from jabra again.
