I was having issues with audio and video quality with my previous webcam (probably `2 years old so time for upgrade). My previous webcam also had the zoom in function, but it was manual and on the top of the webcom which was a little inconvenient when adjusting during a call as the movement was partially visible during the call. The camera has a remote with both zoom in/out and up/down and side/side functionality which is great. I have two monitors, and i position my webcam on on monitor to look more natural when reading or interacting in a virtual meeting. This results in me being positioned slightly off center requiring manual adjustment of my chair during or in preparation for meetings, and I have a lot of meetings like most of us probably do. With this webcam I can maintain my current physical position and adjust my position on the screen using the remote which is great. I have gotten positive feedback on both the video and audio quality (2 built in microphones). Definitely a great value for the price. I saw some really low ratings which made me reconsider purchasing, but the remote controlled ptz was to appealing to my situation so I purchased it anyway. Great decision! I did reach out to the J5 Create team with a question regarding setting up my system to automatically connect with the webcam microphones. They responded to my email quickly with proactive questions and potential solutions. I had already figured it out prior to them responding.

I use this on my imac and it never seems to come on initially. I have to plug it in & out several times before it finally comes on. The picture is great when it's working. Limited software.

I got excited that this camera came with a remote control and I thought it would automatically rotate the camera around its axis. Sadly, the only time the rotation works is when the camera is in zoom mode (not the application) it will pan slightly to the left right or up down the amount the screen is zoomed in. Otherwise, the quality of the picture is really good. The instructions could use a better translator as this rotation disappointment might have been avoided.

I was very disappointed in this product. It says HD but it is not a crisp picture. The description said it could pan left, right, up and down with the remote. All the remote does is zoom a bit, not much, though. The remote has arrows on it for up, down, left and right.......but they do nothing. I wouldn't buy it again.

The zoom and pan feature works great, which was critical to me, it has a small remote that is perfect. I tired a bunch of other brands by Logitech etc. and none worked well, particularly the pan and zoom, required separate apps that didn't really work at all.

using for video calls. the quality, even though it's 5k capable, isn't the best. not as sharp/clear but good enough. much MUCH better than built-in webcams on Macs, even the ones that are 1080p on the latest imacs. the mic is now. Two people walking around the room can talk into the same mic and the 3rd person on the other side of the call hears both flawlessly. dont even have to speak much louder when going to the other part of the room
