I don’t why it took me so long to get one of these. Very happy with the product and it has definitely elevated my flight sim comfort and experience. It looks handsome in my desk. At $65 for a PAIR it’s a fantastic deal. As far as the product goes: It’s sturdy. In my pictures are VKB gladiators. Not the heaviest but they’re heavy and I have them tensioned hard and the mount does not budge. No sliding, twisting, creaking or anything of the sort. They stay in place. Pulling them out of position pretty much moves my whole desk. I assembled using the Type A or 01 method. They’re a little longer than I’d like but this is minor. I have to commend the maker of this kit. It’s well designed for aluminum extrusions. The fastening kits hold well and the screws don’t strip easily. The universal joystick mount is a smart design and comes with different size screws to fit your kit. My particular table has a frame on the edge of the desk so the clamps were unusable but simply stacking some 5mm plywood to level out the table and the frame fixed this as seen in my pictures . But this is just my weird table and few will have this issue. Some tips: take your time in assembling this. Instructions came in a form of a QR code on the box which takes you to a YouTube assembly video. Watch the entire video before assembling. With the exception of a couple of screws you should screw them in lightly at first as you’ll need to make final adjustments anyway when fitting to your desk. Minimize messing with the screws as aluminum is soft and there’s no need to over tighten. Make sure to connect the extrusions carefully and squarely and you should have a fantastic hotas setup.     • Very solid mounts and a huge improvement over their previous mounts.
Just to get it out of the way now, no assembly instructions provided with kit. Just a QR code on the box that links to Pein's Youtube channel where there are assembly videos for many of their products. Mildly irritating as I prefer having a normal build manual, but not the end of the world. The videos are well done and effective at showing how it all goes together. There is a downside in that they do not explain how the included bracket for mounting Cougar MFDs is used. With that out of the way, these mounts are a massive improvement over the earlier models. I did like the earlier mount, but it had a bit more flex to it than I like. This newer design still has some flex, but it is barely noticeable even with me using #30 springs in my two VKB Gladiator NXT Evo sticks. Assembly is quite quick and easy once you've taken a minute to watch the assembly video. At $64.99 for two mounts, you'd be incredibly hard pressed to find anything anywhere near this level of quality and function. I can't recommend these enough. ... show more

    • Very sturdy and steady for the price but my VKB STECS standard is way to long for the mounting plate
It works well and is easy enough to adjust and make changes to. My only fault is that the included mounting plat is not long enough for my VKB STECS standard. The VKB Gladiator fits great. I have a desk that has a built in drawer and I am able to mount it reliably about 3" on one side and 5/8" on the other side. It comes off and on with a simple lever that works great and is easy to use. ... show more

I recently purchased these for my VKB gladiator and VKB omni throttle and they are perfect! Setup took a few minutes to get the idea of how they went together, the videos the QR code links to is actually very thorough but slightly fast paced, may have to pause if you aren’t very fast with your hands. The multiple ways to mount them and being able to change the layout with the parts they INCLUDE in the box is also awesome, seriously great value over some of the “big names” in hotas mounts *cough*thinkofanalienmoviewitharnold*cough*. But on a serious note these things beat the crap out of my old predator mounts in almost every way, especially PRICE and QUALITY. Side-note, when assembling the bases, tighten up to the bottom of the hotas you’re installing BEFORE you attach to the rail, you’ll thank me later. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was no doubt on this product. It’s perfectly fit and you have 3 option to instal. It’s really nice and easy to remove and put away. One cons is it’s little hard to install. It don’t have manual inside the box so you have to watch the video but still it’s not clear.

7/5/2022 UPDATE - back to 5 stars. Contacted company using their contact form (I did not find a support link) and explained the problem. They responded in about 48 hours requesting my address so they could send a replacement. They sent me 4 replacement parts, and they appear to be upgraded versions. that appear to be unable to crack, being what appears to be metal and nylon. Left (white) was the replacement. I don't know if this new part is going to become standard or not, but it should. UPDATE - after less than 2 weeks the plastic disk on one of the clamp cracked. It is still working, but I have no idea for how much longer. Dropped rating from 5 stars. Ordered 2 sticks from VKB. For simplicity, I was going to order their mounts as well. After doing some research, they were going to be twice as much (almost 3X with shipping.) So I looked for an alternative. These mounts are universal and work well with the sticks. They hold onto the desk extremely well and are a solid, stable platform. The only movement I experience is my my desk, not the mounts. Assembly was pretty easy and took about 30 minutes to do both, just because there are a lot of screws/nuts. These are the best bang for buck mounts that I've found. As I stated, you have to watch a YouTube video for instructions to assemble and then only learn later that you have other variations with assembly (after I finished the intro assembly). This was frustrating since I would have liked to know what my options were beforehand. The video is playing random pop music in the background which I found to be annoying - any dialogue would have been welcomed. I do understand it's a Korean product but was very displeased with this process. I'm happy with the product, it's cheap and is sturdy. I am not pleased with the instructions on assembly. ... show more
