This polo shirt fits well. It is tapered in, although not super fitted. It's true to size. The material is a smooth cotton/poly knit - not rough like some polos. It's not too thick and breathable for warmer weather. I do like that there's velcro at the placket. That's easier for kids to deal with -- less frustration. My daughter is petite and I like that this fits her well because she is much smaller for her age. She likes this shirt and the material isn't too rough for her sensitive skin. I like that it doesn't feel like it'll get worn out easily by her when she goes to school.
