First off, this is a cool concept and fun guitar. Second I would NOT buy this guitar unless I knew my stuff and liked to tinker. There is visible glue seeping out of one of the joints of the neck wood. It seems stable, just looks like they filled a gap or knot with wood glue and called it good. Not great. The body is really nice but the neck looks and feels like it was absolutely thrown together. Literally felt like a raw 2x4. Lots of rough orbital sanding marks throughout...and not finish sanding either. Like 60-80 grit. Just really shoddy work. After removing the neck and stripping the tuners I went to work smoothing the finish as best as I could with finer and finer Scotch Brite pads. Made a huge difference. Oiled the neck, put it back together and now it plays and sounds pretty good. Took a 1/8 truss rod turn to dial in the action a little lower but that's it. It is a decent guitar now. I just think it deserves middle of the road stars. If you are a beginner DO NOT buy this...you will be very disappointed. Just my 2 cents. ... show more

    • Serious bang for the buck.
Was really impressed with the build quality, especially considering the price. To get the best sound, open up the wiring cavity and and tweak the three eq controls to your liking. There is a video on youtube that shows the adjustments.
