Description

IVY Classic Swift Cut Metal Cut-Off Blades are constructed out of resin bonded aluminum-oxide grain which enables faster cutting of steel, angle iron, sheet metal and other ferrous metal products. The blades feature double reinforced fiberglass mesh for durability and safety and metal reinforced arbors for extra strength. IVY Classic products: 40088, 40106 and 40108 are designed for use with chop saws.

Was thinking I could make it with just one wheel. But for the order, the 5 pack was as deal. Good thing too. I needed to make 10 cute into dinner 2x2" by 1/8" thick square steel tubing. First blade make it only to 4 cuts.. then it would just heat up the metal instead of cutting it. Second one, was about to do the other 6 with no issues. Must of got a crappy one in that first wheel. Works on the 10" miter saw

I needed to cut steel angle iron and this fit the arbor of my 10" chop miter saw, you need to go slow, but it does the job plus the rated RPM was higher than the saw I used, much better than doing it by hand with a hack saw.

I've never used a blade like this before so this is my first experience. I put it on my standard chop saw and had to cut through 3 inch hollow steel beam. Cut through like butter. Don't know how long it will last but it seems to be very durable. I barely touched it so I'm giving it away as a gift!
