I've been using IVISII products for while now, I do permanent makeup and needed something to use while doing clients. I purchased their original 18" IR-45 LED ring light which I was a little nervous about since I had tried a few other ring lights from Amazon that were actually more expensive that I ended up returning. I ended up loving the light and I used it for awhile up until they released the Upgraded IR-45 19" version which I purchased due to the fact that it had a LCD screen, you could adjust the brightness and also color temp with a dial rather than changing the LED covers and it also came with a remote to take pictures with your cell phone camera! I had used that light daily for awhile and the quality and performance of the light was great and I loved it! I thought it couldn't get any better, especially for the price and the fact you can't beat the quality and customer service! But they went even further with this version offering the same great light with the option to run the light off of batteries!!! I loved this and instantly bought one since I sometimes do mobile services and this makes it so convenient to use! The light itself is the same as the Upgraded IR-45 version, but with a few added features! It of course has the adjustable dial for brightness and color, bright LCD screen which shows light level and color temp and they added on a USB 3.0 port so you can charge or power any USB device when needed! This was another great addition for me since I could now plug my phone in near my work station when it needed to be charged! The LCD screen also shows the charge level of the batteries which is great! It comes with everything that the Upgraded version came with some added stuff also. It now includes a holder to use with your IPad or tablet which is great and their remote that allows you to control the light completely and also control more than one ring light at once. They also added in a set of red, blue and green filters for the light. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and it works great! I bought a set of their batteries awhile back for their LED panel camera light that I use to record videos on my Lumix G95 and have been using them in the light when I do mobile services and it works great being powered off batteries. I used the light for 3 over hours before I needed to charge the batteries again! I've used all accessions and they all work great. I can shoot pics with either my Panasonic Lumix G95 or easily using my cellphone or Ipad. The light the tripod is sturdy and supports the weight of the light well when pointed down at 180 degrees and even with my camera attached which was a problem for me with other lights. The knobs are good size and easy to tighten and just like the others it comes with a bag that it all packs away nicely in! I am completely with IVISII and the products they make and am SUPER HAPPY I made the purchase for this version! Now I can keep the original Upgraded version at my station in the Spa and bring this one with me! ... show more

    • Great light, impressive Ivisii customer support, don't trust the included stand
I was excited to receive this light based on the multiple reviews I saw on Amazon and watching on YouTube. As soon as I received it, I unboxed it and got it setup. It is a very large light, but that does open the versatility. The first thing I noticed once I got it setup is that the light stand is very poor quality and that it was very concerning combined with the plastic mounting bracket on the light. Any slight bump or touch of the light or light stand and there was quite a bit of shaking. I went ahead and moved the light to a more sturdy light bracket I already owned and that greatly enhanced the stability. I don't recommend using the included light stand. I went ahead and turned the light on and was pretty impressed with the brightness. I messed around with the dial for the brightness and color and discovered an interesting thing. My light color was the opposite of how it should be. My light has the warmest color at 5800K on the display and the coolest color at 3000K...it should be reversed. I went ahead and setup an exchanged with Amazon. The replacement arrived today and it is doing the exact same thing! I now have a ticket open with Ivisii support to see if there is a way to fix this without needing another replacement. So far, I am not impressed with the quality control on the light. I feel I will really like the light if things can be straitened out. I will see what happens with Ivisii support. TLDR: Great light, useless stand, dealing with an issue with two separate lights. Update 7-13-2020: After received two lights with the same issue, I did email Ivisii support. They responded the next day and said they had a batch of these lights that have this issue. They asked me to confirm my order number, provide my address, and they would send a replacement. I received the replacement a couple days later. The new replacement is currently functioning as it should. I am very satisfied with the customer service provided by Ivisii. I have raised my rating as the light is great. I do not recommend relying on the included light stand, however. ... show more
