This curtain rod is sturdy and well made. It is easy to assemble and adjust. The brackets that the rod rests on are substantial -- not at all flimsy. I extended to about 155". Size: 120 to 240 in.
I have 3 windows spaced closely together that I covered with one completed drapery rod. The windows totaled 120 inches and I needed a rod totaling about 140 inches. I used two of the central rods in the center and an end rod on each end. The package came with a "splice" which gets inserted (inside) the two central rods creating a strong joint and added support at the center. No sagging at the middle of the rod. I did also use 3 of the brackets, one on each end and in the middle. This has got to be the most stable and supportive drapery rod I've ever used and I highly recommend it for wide window application. The color is brushed nickel, which i think can go either silver or champagne gold. Price was excellent. And it arrived in one day. ... show more

My husband is very handy but it took him quite some time to install this rod as well as get it level, etc. Meanwhile it looks beautiful. The only thing I don’t like is that where the two rods meet, where you can extend it, is a much darker color than the ride itself and stands out. I plan on taking it down and painting that ring a different color. Other than that, I’m extremely happy. I think my handmade curtains look great with this curtain rod. It is extremely high-quality and there is not one imperfection on the rod. Also, I like that there is no need for a center support bracket. ... show more

Used to hang 108" length grommet curtains in my living room. Added a second 86" rod to extend across a 24' room, ensuring there would be plenty of "overlap" in the splices, to make sure that the rod was reinforced across the whole width of the room. Looks AMAZING. The splices are barely visible. (No one will climb 10' to look). To the casual observer, the rod looks like a continuous piece of metal with no breaks, and appears to float on the wall, as there are no supports visible. Living room has 3 large windows. I was able to place the supports so that none are visible once the curtains are hung. The wider rod make the curtains look much more "high end." Extremely pleased with this purchase. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of them. For reference: I was able to hang and install the rods and curtains by myself. Time needed to install all the brackets and rods was approximately 2 hours, start to finish. ... show more

These curtain rods are the most heavy duty rods I’ve ever seen. I am most happy with them. They are still solid after maximum extension. They are everything as advertised. Well worth the money. The finials are also solid and not cheap looking.
