I have bought gel/foam mattresses in the past with much chagrin at the quality, so, I had some reservations about how this mattress would compare. To my surprise, this is a very comfy mattress. It is a true plush. Not the shi** that many companies mislabel and/or misrepresent here on Amazon. A TRUE plush. And, it hugs you like your Saint Bernard! Big, cushy, comfy, and wholly. I do have a bit of hesitancy with the effort I have to use to sit up and to stand up, as it is so kushy, but the sleep and comfort is out of this world!! I bought this to use on a daybed frame I just bought for the living room. And, I bought this mattress, in particular, for my girlfriend as she has back issues and cannot sleep on my hybrid mattress in the bedroom. She needs special care for her back and has wasted thousands of dollars on mattresses over the years trying to find all-night comfort. She hasn't yet slept on this mattress as it just finished rising (I waited an extra 14 hours (overnight) so that it would FULLY rise before we laid down on it.) I am VERY hopeful that this mattress will be the one for her. I personally slept like a baby. Much better than my own mattress. Though, I like the bounce that my hybrid provides so I don't have to struggle to raise up in a seated position. I highly recommend the comfort of this mattress. And the price at $230 as shipped, was not unreasonable. As long as they make mattresses like this at an affordable price point, I won't ever need to spend $3k on the mattress I really want. I will try to provide an update in a couple of months after my girlfriend has spent much time on experiencing and evaluating this product. Peace and Love to all. God bless.

I ordered a 10" plush twin mattress, and so far find it pretty comfortable. The only problem is that it's quite hard. I'm 195lbs and may only sink 1-1.5 inches. Nonetheless I still sleep great on this bed and it provides good support.

This is my first memory foam mattress and I’m SO glad I switched. Easy to unpackage and get set up onto my bed frame. Very slight odor upon unboxing but wasn’t detectable on the mattress, just the plastic and box it came in so I took those outside straight away. I was surprised how fast it came to its full 10 inch height, literally within a few hours, but I still waited 24 hours to sleep on it. I love the removable bamboo cover but still placed a mattress protector over it. This seemed a tad more firm than I expected for the first couple nights but after that now feels more of a medium firmness and perfect in my opinion. I have a lot of hip issues that bring daily pain but after a couple weeks noticed it has been WAY lessened. Upon sitting on the edges there is some give but that’s with most mattresses and this one is way less than my previous spring mattress and I was actually pleasantly surprised. I would buy this again.

For our petite 12 year old, this is working out well as a bunk bed mattress. For a more substantial bed frame or an older/heavier body, it might not work as well. But the listing is clear that it is intended to be a kids' mattress, and for a bunk bed situation like ours, which has a smaller bed frame and needs a shorter mattress height, this IULULU mattress is ideal. It arrived tightly rolled and compressed, and we were fully expecting it to smell terrible and that the off-gassing would take hours of airing out - BUT we were pleasantly surprised by how little it actually smelled straight out of the plastic. It has a soft, quilted cover. After expanding for a couple of hours we measured it to be just shy of 6" high (and it may have expanded a bit more afterwards but we did not re-measure). It is pretty firm in my opinion (listing says "medium-firm") but our 12 year old finds it to be comfortable and says it's an upgrade from her older mattress, so that's all that matters. We do have a light cotton mattress topper on it, but that's pretty thin so I don't think it is making much difference in the comfort level. Although this is not a high end mattress, for the reasonable price we are completely satisfied with the quality and would recommend it for kids' bunk beds or similar bed frames.

I was a bit concerned at first because the mattress was very firm, but after a few days sleeping on it, it softened up. Still has good support though! Had no smell/odor right out of the package, it was easy to set up and was shipped fairly quick too. Overall great product!
