I got clued onto this skort as a dupe for the lululemon court rival. I've never owned the LL skort, so I can't compare the "quality" or "feel" of this skort, but the style is spot on and exactly what I was looking for. The only real downsides are: 1.) the waistband is an elastic band inside a casing and they are not attached to each other so the weird "waistband elastic rolling on itself" thing happens. 2.) The pockets are set a little further back than expected and don't sit on the sideline of the thigh, but almost at a halfway between the side and where a butt pocket would be. 3.) the undershorts do roll up with repeated sitting and standing. None of these issues are enough to make me stop wearing the skort though, just slight inconveniences when they happen. I will most likely order more in different colors (I got the black). ... show more

    • Adorable and super flattering from the outside- Just don't love the built in shorts

I purchased several different versions of this skort from various sellers and this one was by far the most flattering. The wider waistband hides a multitude of fluff. The cut of the skort is just so insanely flattering. I wear it for dancing and it's amazing. My only complaint is the shorts. They literally have holes in them and are super thin. I get they wanted them to be breathable, but this skort is short and wind can blow it up and with the type of dancing I do I'm sometimes flipped upside down and I need the coverage to be there. I've had to wear extra shorts under the white pair before and the shorts were still see through, even with an extra layer. They also have little grip material at the end which for me is super uncomfortable and is literally pointless... the shorts still flip right on up and over my thighs and don't stay in place at all. So it's basically uncomfortable and isn't even functional. They also didn't color match it well. they use bright white and black, which, again, is super visible. They should have used a clear grip. Ultimately there were other versions of this skort from other sellers that had really nice fabric shorts underneath that were incredibly comfortable and not see-though at all (even in the white) and didn't roll up (even without the grippy stuff), but those skorts had thinner waistbands that did weird things and just weren't flattering from the outside. If I could take the shorts from one of those and pair them with the outer layers of these we'd have the world's most perfect skort. Either way, I did order this in 3 colors (black, maroon, and white) and I do love them- apart from having to pull the shorts down constantly, having the grippy material leaving imprints on my legs, and them being see though when the skirt comes up. ... show more

    • Really nice quality, but shorts not long enough

I really like this skirt, it’s cute and comfortable and I love the built in shorts. My biggest qualm is that I really wish the shorts were just an inch or so longer. I got this to wear to Disney World with my family, and knowing it’s hot and humid there I was hoping this would prevent chaffing. Unfortunately just a bit too short and I had to wear biker shorts underneath to wear them comfortably, which kind of defeats the purpose of it being a skort. I do think the quality is nice and style is flattering for an adult, it was a good length of not too short like I’m still a teen but also not matronly. It does wrinkle quite easily so I usually have to hang it before wearing. Overall still a decent purchase and I do enjoy it ... show more

I've tried a bunch of athletic flowy short/skorts with leggings style pockets and this is IT. Very flattering, high waisted so it hides my postpartum belly. For reference, 32 in upper waist (maybe around 36in in the lower waist and hips) and the large fits well. I'd been eyeing Halara shorts and skorts but was worried about the return process so while this isn't a dupe, I think it's a flattering alternative that I am satisfied with. My one word of caution is the waistband isn't sewn in - that is, it can move around inside the waistband. This is probably why tumble dry is not recommended - it can move the waistband or fold over inside the waistband fabric. This hasn't bothered me so I'm not removing a star, but wanted to let others know! ... show more

I am 5’5” and 220, I wear a size 2X in most clothing. I got this in a size XL, light blue color and it fits perfectly! It hides the stomach extremely well even from the side and takes my waist in. I could even wear this with a crop top and feel good. I will be getting it in other colors. Highly recommend for plus size girls like me. I didn’t give it 5 stars because I haven’t worn it out yet so not sure about the thigh rub or if the shorts will roll after a whole day **EDIT** After wearing for a full day, I did notice the shorts felt a little tight around the thighs and went up a bit but nothing too uncomfortable (thick thighs). The quality is really good the skirt is thicker than I expected and the fit was better than I expected the only down side to the product was the legs still rode up even with the grippy material to keep them in place. Also I would not recommend them if you are jumping on and off a rowing machine. Had i not been wearing giant granny panties i surely would have shared parts of me that nobody wants to see in the middle of a HITT class. ... show more

Listen I have tried almost every single black “flowy” tennis/golf skirt on amazon and I have returned all but one. I have a mama apron belly and most skirts really don’t hide or flatter it well. The only other skirt I have ever found that I liked was almost this skirt exactly, but so so so short. I do still wear it but I’ve been hunting for one that is flattering and goes a little below my buttcheeks, without being to my knees. This is perfect! So flattering on my belly and a cute length!
