The ITEHIL panel stopped working when I needed it to work on a camping trip. It had worked at home in my testing of the panel and my power stations. Day one of camping it worked and charged the power station, but day two the panel was acting like it was going to work by having the power station screen say it was pugged in and awaiting input of watts and amps into the power stations, but even after hours in the sun nothing happened. Checked and rechecked if the cables were input correctly but nothing changed. Still would not work that day or any other day after that. Had to plug in a friends panel to charge up that day.     • Needs MPPT..... performs pretty well
I got 130 watts with an MPPT controller, but only 80 watts with a PWM. Be carefully what kind of controller you use.

    • Buy at your own risk
I bought a 160w panel 6 months ago and used it 3 times for camping. The last time I used it, it worked one day and stopped working when the sun came up the next day (no changes to wiring in between days). I’ve tried many other times with different batteries, plugs, etc and confirmed with the company that the panel is broken. I sent videos of how I was using the panel and photos to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong. After sending all the information, Itehil has stopped responding to emails despite constant follow ups. Don’t trust the warranty and buy at your own risk. Sometimes things break or don’t work as intended but ignoring customers and defective products is not acceptable. I don’t usually write bad reviews but I just want to make sure to warn others. It’s a lot of money to spend on something that doesn’t work and the company makes a big deal about the warranty on the website. But…. What good is a warranty if it won’t be honored and customers with problems are ignored. ... show more
