When using it for hearing enhancement, it seems to only enhance when on the highest setting and then it has static and the slightest wind creates noise, thus it lessens my ability to hear instead of enhancing it. For hearing protection, I was using it last weekend for hunting when someone shot about 20 yards from me. The AXIL actually made that shotgun noise much louder, thus enhancing that noise instead of suppressing it. They are cumbersome to fit in the ear, and the wrap around ear hook does not mold to your ear. Thus, it is hard to fit and keep it in your ear. Also, the cinch on the lanyard fell off the first time I used it in the field and is lost.

The more that I use my new GSE 3.0 the more I love them. It has been just over 3 weeks now. Today I noticed when entering the range doors that the SonicShieldX™ Protection respond when I opened the first of the 2 doors when gun fire was going off. This is great even blocked some parts of words with gun fire when instructing a shooter, they really work great. I am very happy with my perches.

Initially had an issue with first pair, static noise and unable to connect with BT, sent back and within a week had another pair at the door, great customer service through AXIL. Takes some adjustments but once you get the ear plugs sized right it’s pretty comfortable. Does really only enhance hearing with volume all the way up but other than that would recommend for sure!
