– Honest Review I’ve always been an earmuff, wraparound-style hearing protection guy—but after using these, I’ve officially changed my mind. First things first: fitment is everything. You have to take the time to get the right size ear tips and foam inserts for your ears. That makes all the difference in performance. Also the cord behind your neck, if sunglasses lanyard/straps don’t bother you, than neither will these. My first test was at an indoor shooting range using a 9mm. Right out of the gate, the earbuds performed well and noticeably reduced the noise. Then I stepped up to a 10mm and a .357 Magnum—and honestly, at first, I wasn’t impressed. The noise reduction wasn’t what I expected. But after adjusting the fit—switching to the larger ear tips and foam inserts—it was a completely different experience. Once properly fitted, the earbuds effectively cut down the sharp report from both the 10mm and .357 Magnum. For the second test, I went to an outdoor rifle range and ran them with my two biggest rifles: a .45-70 Government and a .338 Lapua—both extremely loud cartridges. Again, with the proper fit, these earbuds handled it. The noise suppression was solid, and I had no issues with discomfort or ringing afterward. Final Verdict: If you take the time to dial in the fit, these are a game changer. Comfortable, effective, and way less bulky than traditional earmuffs. Highly recommend.

Were to start? Fit I guess, if you cant find a fit someting wrong with You. 9x pairs of foam ear pieces 2x silicone. Took me almost a week, but I also work in a factory so I just took these to work, then the range. Battery life, long long long. Time will tell if the battery life goes down with use. Once you have a good fit they are very comfortable. I got them on sale so cheeper then beats & has better noise cancaling so great value. Quality seems there but again time will tell. Why 4 stars? I would like to see a set of tappered foam ear pieces so it gets wider closer to the ear opening.

I have normal ear anatomy, each Concha put so much pressure almost caused a blister/pressure injury. The largest one was the *least* painful. Returning and do not recommend. Ear buds fall out constantly. Lost one on a job site that fit. They don’t screw in or have a way to stay attached well when putting in and taking out of your ear so buds fall out.

The AXIL GS Extreme 3.0 is a pretty slick upgrade. It basically jams three different devices into one pair of earbuds, giving you high-end hearing protection, the ability to crank up ambient sounds so you can actually hear people talking, and Bluetooth for your music or calls. This 3.0 version is a step up because it lasts way longer than the older models, giving you about 25 hours of battery life for just the hearing enhancement or around 8 hours if you’re streaming audio at the same time. They’ve also revamped the fit with a "Lock-n-Loaded" design that hooks into your ear, so they won't go flying if you're moving around a lot. The sound compression is super fast, which is the most important part, as it shuts out loud bangs instantly while still letting you hear the gravel crunching under your boots. It’s a great pick if you hate the bulk of traditional over-ear muffs, especially in hot weather or when you're trying to get a good cheek weld on a rifle. Get them.

It's an ok system. Nothing great. Sound a tad bit better than my Walkers full muffs. Was looking for something a bit more lightweight and didn't move when obtain a cheek weld. Probably wouldn't buy again unless the product improves.
