My Ears Thank Me Every Time I Put These On I used to be terrible about protecting my hearing. Whether it was loud concerts, power tools in the garage, or even just the sheer volume of my own questionable singing, I figured my ears could handle it. Spoiler alert: they can't, not long-term anyway. I finally realized I needed to get serious about hearing protection, but I didn't want something bulky or uncomfortable that I'd dread wearing. That's where these Walker's Razor Slim Electronic Earmuffs came into my life, and honestly, my ears have sent me thank you notes (if ears could write, which, thankfully, they can't – that would be weird). The first thing that struck me was how not bulky they are. The "Slim" in the name is legit. They have a really low profile compared to other earmuffs I've seen, which makes them comfortable to wear for extended periods, even with safety glasses or hats. The "Battle Brown" color is also pretty sharp, if you care about looking good while protecting your hearing (and who doesn't?). But the real magic is the electronics. The sound amplification is fantastic. I can have a conversation at a normal volume with them on, which is crucial when you're trying to communicate on a job site or at the range. And the moment a loud noise hits – BAM! – the sound-activated compression kicks in instantly (seriously, 0.002-second reaction time is faster than I can even flinch). It mutes the harmful noise down to a safe level while still letting you hear everything else. It's like having a personal sound engineer for your ears, constantly adjusting the volume for safety and clarity. I've used these for everything from woodworking with loud saws to attending shooting events, and they perform flawlessly. They're comfortable enough that I forget I'm wearing them until a loud noise happens, and then I'm just grateful they're doing their job. The audio input jack is a nice bonus too – perfect for listening to music or podcasts while working on quieter tasks, still with the protection ready to go. I was able to hear my instructor easily, but I had zero issues listening to the loud firing in the other stalls. No ear ringing at all and the sound quality is good enough to recognize different people speaking. For the price I'm recommending this to everyone who doesn't have hearing protection

I will be 73 in a couple of months, and I have been shooting since I was about 10 years old. This includes my time in the military, where I was a firearms instructor, and as a casual hunter and shooter for many decades. These are absolutely the best hearing protection I've ever used in all that time. I like that I can adjust the sound if I want to hear people talking, but I can also leave it turned off and still hear what's going on while my ears are protected. Yesterday, we were firing 45 ACP and 10mm pistols, and a 357 Magnum revolver, all heavy rounds, and the earmuffs did an excellent job and were very comfortable. ... show more

These are honestly incredible - my rifle is EXTREMELY loud. And that's BEFORE a muzzle brake is going on. This works amazing. I will say that if I'm at an indoor range, though, I do still wear earplugs inside of them, and I have the noise cancelling turned all the way up. The absolute speed in which it cancels noise is crazy. You've can have it tuned to allow in conversation with someone next to you, but then once you pull that trigger, it is INSTANTLY muffled. They also work really well with the walkie-talkie that walker makes as well. They fit really comfortably, and i almost find that I can hear wildlife better when hunting with them, as they amplify nature sounds, and let me listen to that, as opposed to any road noise. They're pretty easily adjusted onto the head as well, so they'd fit folks with smaller noggins, as well as large craniums. ... show more

These earmuffs rock. The are very adjustable and fit small and large heads well. They fold into themselves easily and pack down small. These are relatively low profile and look professional. A big plus to me is the auxillary input on the bottom of the left earmuff, which doesn't require battery power. It is simply a pass through for music or communication equipment, so really it's a 3-in-1 ear protection, hearing aid, and walkie talkie speaker set. I liked mine so much I bought a second.
