I have had my board for almost a month now using it every day. I skate about 9 miles in a day (to and from work) always having to charge it about half way through the day. The terrain varies from a slight incline, downhill to flat in New York City. The brakes have gone out on me on multiple occasions. The acceleration will not work at random points on the ride. The acceleration I will press and nothing will happen like it gets stuck. Then when I try to break, it will go to full speed and has send me into traffic and a group of people all the while holding the brake back. I don’t feel like I have control of this board and I have near 15 years experience skating. The remote has disconnected from the board mid ride. If the board drops below 2 bars of battery life you should expect having to push the rest of your trip because it will not last. I would not recommend this board to anyone due to sheer inconsistency. ... show more

Got my son the V6 for christmas. Firstly, note the dimensions before buying. It is on the small side. Secondly, it's advertised here as 450W motor. However, in the manual that camer with its spec'd at 300W. A bit dishonest. Lastly, range is listed at ten miles. He's getting closer to five miles. He's 115lbs, almost all flat path riding. Off road capability The wheels are super grippy on street 12s3p battery , I get around 20 mile range I’ve only gotten up to 27mph according to gps However that was too fast for me. I usually cruise and carve at 18-22mph have tackled steep hills no problem. This is my first skateboard. Electric or otherwise Took me a couple days to start to carve comfortably but after over 400 miles I feel like I can ride in my sleep. I received the board beginning of October. So that’s quite a bit of riding. I’ve been snowboarding for 20 years so it feels very natural with double king pin trucks. I’m hooked it’s my favorite way to get around now. I own e bikes and electric scooter. But I always seem to reach for my v10 when I roll out. I added handles to both sides for lift and roll And for carrying. Also added detachable head lights and tail light all spare bike ones I had previously purchased. Both work perfectly on board. Next up street wheels. will add reviews if I mod board. ... show more

    • Lasted just longer than the 1 month warranty
It was really nice at first but if you plan on using it it won't last more than a couple months. The inside of one wheel melted and it took about a month to get a response from the company, which was just a link to buy more wheels for 100$. The charger is dangerous, swelled up and got really hot. And the screwdriver on the tool they sent doesn't even fit the bolts on the trucks. Itd be a great board if the company could be bothered to help fix the parts that are messed up ... show more

    • Don't coast after the battery runs out.
I have a V6 model and love riding it. It's fast, fun, easy to control and comfortable to ride. The big let down was actually the reason I got an Eboard over an Escooter, when the battery dies it just becomes a normal skateboard, well it does but if you keep riding it, the battery drains to absolute zero making the lithium unable to recharge. It only goes 4 miles on a charge(which is way less than advertised) so I wanted to explore more and just ride it manually. But sadly, one time of extra exploring completely bricked the battery. The reason it drained is because the kick to start feature keeps engaging while riding and I couldn't find a way to turn it off. ... show more

    • The battery is lacking
I am a 60 year old and I bought this product for exercise and fun. I must have missed the battery review during my research because I believed the hype about 12 mile battery life. I bought the product with the extra battery (which took an extra few days to receive) and found during my 150 miles so far, that I only get 8.5 to 8.6 miles out of each battery. This is very disappointing. I’ve tried charging when my board will not go over 14 miles and hour and I’ve also tried running the battery completely out wear I had to carry it home. No matter what I try I can’t get any more mileage out of them. And when the temperature is around 55, I’m lucky to get 6 miles out of each battery. My typical run is mostly flat and I only weigh 185 with my pack. The board is awesome and everything else about the board is sweet but the false advertising about the mileage is not what I expected from an Amazon product. Again, very disappointing. ... show more
