  • Fun ride, sturdy with nice simplistic look, the seat is nice in the end.
Style: S9 Max with Seat
Isinwheel S9 Max with seat I have to try it out a little. So far so good. It easiy goes 18 mph on the asphalt. I've got it up to 19 in a parking lot, but only once. This is more brief thighs than a narrative summary. volt meter is 5 squares when full Battery guess and speed in city: I ride it for work about 4.2 miles ( 6.8 km ) when I work. It really gets 3 trips in with sbout 1 square of 5 left. I don't think I'd get 4 trips. I'll have to test that more. I do Like to write it fast. I get 17 mph (27kph) hour every night Sometimes it hits 18 . I drive through a parking lot Along city bike Lanes And on sidewalks. The e brake works pretty good. It's really cool. The cruise control is cool, It's a little difficult to activate. You have to hold the throttle for several seconds, five I think. The throttle in general is sensitive though, I like it. The problem comes in when you're trying to get it to lock into a speed and it's fluctuating a little bit under your finger. You can easily hold it to the max and it'll click in pretty quick. It's a lie harder trying to get it to lock somewhere in between. I don't put my finger on the little Pressure flap part. I put It on the edge of the thing that rotates For the throttle So I grip the rotating part of the throttle. This way , I can squeeze it with my hand to hold it for a few seconds. Any change in the speed controls will cancelthe auto pilot. (Cruise control but funnier way to word it.) What this means first Of all is that you can activate the cruise control. With the throttle and you can also cancel it with the throttle. So if it's in cruise control and I push the accelerator up. Then let go it'll Cancel cruise control. If I hit the brakes either one cruise control cancel as well. But I found that's interesting and kind of coolis there one thing you can do with the speed that doesn't cancel the cruise control. The scooter has two speed ranges. You double tap the control button to switch between low and high. Red is high speed green Is slow. There's an l e d. In green I get about 10 mph (16 kph) top. In red I get my max. When cruise control is In control , when you double tap that to change speed ranges , the curse control stays on. So this kind of gives you a way to select two different cruising speeds. Not separately I believe they're proportional. I'll have to try it halfway throttle later. The display & lights The display is very easy to read and very clear. And it does not seem to be distracting from the ride. The headline can easily be turned on and off by tapping the control button once. It does have a delay though I think about a half a second. You can hit it twice close together. And the light'll come On and then turn off again. When you want to turn the light on and off , just tap at once and about a half a second later , it'll switch. It might be a quarter of a second. Now this is important to depends on your taste. One of the reasons I'd like this scooter. Before I bought. It is the headlight angle. A lot of people that ride bikes and scooters have the headlight aim with the Steering path not the drive path. There is a subtle difference. If i'm driving down the road and my headlight is mounted to the handlebars , my beam will move every time I move the handle bars if I turn a cornerit shines where I'm stared towards but not actually in front of me. This scooter has the headlight always facing towards the front of the scooter. It's not affected by the steering wheel. Personally I like this better. If I'm going down a sidewalk and the handlebars are jiggling, or I'm adusting. The headlight would be moving on most bikes and scooters. Since the headlight on this one always faces forward it isn't affected by that. That wiggling of the light that's caused by most Handle bars I believe can cause more attention from the drivers in the cars. The other type Of headlights(not on this one) that move with the Handlebars shows the cars every time you move your handle bars. The Forward facing headlight on the scooter I believe is less distracting to the cars. It makes me appear to the cars. So i'm driving very smoothly even if I might not be. I really enjoy the way they made the headlight. It aims a little lower than I might Have designed it, But it does seem to work further well. I think it's more lighting up my curbs and ramps, not so much. what's 20ft. (6 meters) . I do have adequate street lighting in most placeso. It might be more prominent if it were dark. I like the way it works. Remember , the taillight stays on the kind of flickers when you hit either one of the brakes. It is always on. I like that too. Tires and springs. The tires are solid very solid. They have a very narrow tread so they're straight tires. The bike will go through gravel But I wouldn't make any sharp turns because with a short tread. Think of it similar to Ice or mud in a car. You can shoot through it but I wouldn't gun to motor or stare sharply. On a very rough asphalt road there's a lot of shake. I believe it's absorbing quite a bit of it but there's definitely some there. That's partly because the tires are solid. But the shocks do seem to work fairly well. Shock in the seat is rather long and helps quite a bit. The seat. The seat is very helpful but it needs to work. First of all The video From a company. of putting the seat together was funny in a weird way. The seat comes with a standard bike clamp for a post that has to be removed. There are two washers affected to this part you remove. The guy shown in the video has him. Just fall off gently into the seat. This was not my experience. Now the video also was recorded very quickly. It looks like a magician's video. I slowed it down to a slower speed and still couldn't tell of those washers came from. That little part that comes out I had to pride them off. It was part of the way it was made and part of the way it was painted. They looked at first like they were welded to it. They were not. Those two washers come off but not easily. If you're ever taken apart, I'd like to see. The wire frame has his washers that clamp onto it. They attach the cross to the seat. They're like clamps that going to the wire in the seat. The process isn't too bad once you realize you have to take those off that thing kind of by force. The video is annoying because it was really hard to see what was happening with that part. But once you realize you just have to pull them off they are there. I spent probably 2 hours on the seat. Overall it was very frustrating but it is done. The seat post provides quite a bit of cushioning. I would recommend an actual lock washer to go on there. Because the seat moves even when i'm gonna tighten down a lot. It'll rock backwards then I have to adjust and tighten it up again. I'm about 170 lb (77kg) If I get it really tight It'll stay most of the time. I mean really tight , so i'm gonna get some Is actual lock washers. SUMMARY 🎵 (NOTES) : I'm gonna do some more testing with a calibrated g p s. I haven't had a scooter of any kind in forty years. I have wrode some different rentals scooters thet go 20-28 mph (32-45 kph). The isinwheel S9 Max Is just as fun in general at my experienced 18 mph (29 kph) . It's a rather smooth ride unless you hit a sharp bump a 2-3 in (5-7 cm) drop in the concrete will jolt yiu a little, which becomes more passable when sitting in the seat because of its long spring. The steering is quick but not loose. The controls are placed well. The grips are comfortable. This thing is so much fun. I already Figuratively sold one of your scooters. One of the guys that works for me is about to buy 1. I've got another guy that's already thinking about it. It's a very comfortable ride standing on it as well. I don't notice the cracks in the sidewalk really The suspension definitely works very well I think. You have to remember they are small tires , so those tend to accentuate things you're Riding on. Personally I was kind of offended by the video. It was almost like I said like a magician's video Even it invertently Convoloted something very important In the assembly process. If I buy another scooter it might be your brand it probably will be. It's built well. I have shaken it up a lot. It still works fine everyday. This made it a little more fun. The seat post mounts towards the back of the foot plate but not all the way back. This means that you can put your feet in front of the seat If you like. Now one day I had to tie a pizza box to the footboard. I decided to put my feet back in my toes down on the footboard just behind the seat. It was kind of fun to ride it that way and I got my pizza home intact. The app is interesting. It's cool but I don't believe the scooter has an internal Odometer. The App we'll track your mileage when it's on but not when you're not using it. It does have some settings and that you can change on the scooter that work whether the apps on or not. And it does have an option to lock the scooter with the app. I have not played with that much but it does seem to work. ... show more

  • Smart scooter with Bluetooth connectivity & powerful motor with quick throttle!
The media could not be loaded. My wife and I are intrigued by the capability of electric bikes and scooters. We currently own 2 e-bikes and 2 scooters at home and we love the convenience it offers for the local commute and a great companion during the trips when we carry in our car. This is 3rd scooter for us but it is one of the unique kind and high tech too. We are impressed by this scooter for sure but there are definitely some cons that need to be considered before getting this. My detailed comments are below after using it for a week and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an e-scooter in this form factor & price range. My 2 cents are below: Pros: - This scooter ride is very smooth overall on the plain terrain - Has a maximum speed of around 18.6 MPH. I am not sure about you but riding a scooter over 15MPH is something my wife and I both don't prefer for safety reasons and hence it delivers as per our needs. It has a 350W high-power motor and immediately catches the speed on pressing the trigger - Ride modes can be changed via the app too - Great build quality overall - The mobile app is one of the key highlights for this scooter. Connects easily and has tons of features/control to explore. Seeing scooter statistics is a nice feature (Picture attached) - Digital HD led display is very fancy and intuitive - Brake in both from and rear wheels worked great overall for sudden and usual brakes while riding it - The platform has a non-skid rubber coating making it easy to get a grip while riding - Single button control makes it easy to operate (Single/Double/Triple clicks changes everything) - Headlight LEDs are bright enough for night rides as well. We usually tend to ride in the evening or when it is about to get dark and hence we liked this - Taillight is battery operated too and works with the brake to make it easier to ride in the dark - Overall this e-scooter looks fancy and targets youth customers. It would be a great choice for anyone in the '20s-30s - 8.5'' tires have good grip overall and we did not feel it skidding as if now - Great build quality and structure feels very strong from any angle - It is easy to charge with the access point in a nice area. It charged from zero to full in around 5 hours and I found it to be true to what the manufacturer claims - Comes very well packed and there was no damage at all - Scooter comes in big packaging with most of the assembly already in place. Just had to fit some parts and screw them up. It was overall an easy assembly and the scooter was ready to use in less than 5 minutes - Detailed manual provided and should cover any question you may have during use - Manufacturer offers a 1-year warranty on the scooter (however battery has 6 months warranty only) - Very reasonably priced in this category of product and it is a bank for the bucks considering the looks of these - Scooter is foldable making it portable to carry around Cons: - 17 miles of range is not the best in the competition even in the 350W motor category. My other scooter tends to give a 22-23 miles range with a similar capacity motor. The battery is 7.5Ah in this compared to 10Ah in my other scooter - This scooter is only meant for city plain terrain. It can handle up to 20 degree upward slopes but that is not practical in the real world - Display visibility is not very great in sunlight and it gets difficult to read sometimes - Why manual horn in an e-scooter? I would prefer a digital one - The display shows up 3 modes ideally but only the Economy and Sport modes are functional even with the mobile app. There is no way to change to drive (D) mode ... show more
