  • Great tool. Great for turning pipes or removing stuck oil filters.
Size: Pack of 1
This is a great tool. This tool works so much better than a strap wrench because it can be tightened like a typical vise grip. It is certainly not as delicate as a strap wrench though. I use this mostly on oil or fuel filters, but it has so many other potential uses. Vise grip also sells extension chains for this tool. ... show more

  • You need these tools!
Size: Pack of 1
These belong in your toolbox...period. I recommend buying a pair to be used in opposition. Honestly, once you have a Vise Chain Wrench you will wonder how you ever got along without it. These are by far my favorite tools. I just purchased a second pair because I packed them in a checked soft sided piece of luggage that was crushed during a trip to a distant international laboratory. The wrenches were bent beyond use and I was 10,000 miles from any hope of replacements. I was seriously annoyed and had to make do with sub-par arrangements for a couple of months. I’ve now fixed the situation and also learned a good lesson that I should have anticipated. If you travel, pack them in a secure box that will not crush or just use your carryon. ... show more

  • Go with these, not the cheap ones.
Size: Pack of 1
I used these on a bunch of plumbing and irrigation projects. They worked perfectly. Others try and cut corners and use tools how they aren't meant to be used, I just buy the right tools for the job. Irwin has always been a quality brand. I'll pay the extra $5-$10 for their products any day.

  • Just what I needed
Size: Pack of 1
Had a stuck on motorcycle oil filter, the thing may as well have been welded on. Tried 2 different oil filter wrenches and a strap wrench, would not budge. This thing not only got it off in the limited amount of room I had ro work in but also crushed it like it was soft butter. A bit pricey for a once a year tool, but it'll likely be the last filter wrench I'll ever have to buy ... show more

  • Well worth the price if you have a need for them
Size: Pack of 1
High quality and durable. They grip round objects like a normal vise grip would but without any deformation and leaves almost unnoticeable marks.

  • An essential, must have tool.
Size: Pack of 1
An essential, must have tool. When you need it , it's the only thing that will work, and a life saver! The chain extension expands the usefulness at the expense of some awkwardness, but its manageable . Don't bother with cheap copies, there is a functional difference/quality

  • Nice BUT..........
Size: Pack of 1
I used it to put around my pulley when installing a new fan in my 1999 ford F350, worked great.....once I figured it out, it is kinda awkward to latch the chain onto the wrench, either that or I am a pumpkin headed dum dum, but I did find it to be frustrating using it in a tight area.

  • Must-have tool for any mechanic
Size: Pack of 1
This is a great tool. It is easy to use and adjust. I bought it to remove the crankshaft pulley on a car I was replacing the timing belt on. I don't why I didn't buy one of these years ago--it would have saved me so much time!
