  • It cuts through Metal like butter
Style: 7 1/4", 48T
I use this with my Dewalt circular saw to cut metal roofing. So far have had fantastic results. I use eye protection as well as a heavy coat because there are sparks that fly all over but the end result is great.

  • Wish I had purchased this sooner!
Style: 7 1/4", 68T
This blade is the real deal. I eventually purchased this for cutting ribbed steel panels for the inside walls of a workshop after trying several other lower cost alternatives. I started out using snips and then the abrasive type wheels on a grinder and circular saw. The abrasive wheels worked, but they threw sparks everywhere, were hard to make a straight cut with, and burned the paint on the metal. I decided to give this blade a try after reading many positive reviews from others using it for the same application and all I can say is I should have just bought this in the beginning and saved myself a lot of hassle. It cut the panels incredibly easily and smoothly with surprisingly few sparks. It cuts very quickly and it’s easy to make straight cuts. The only time I had any issues was if the cut was right near the end of the panel, the blade would rip up the thin strip at the end when I started to cut and then it would get stuck on the guard of the circular saw. I only had this issue a couple times though and it was only when there was a very thin piece being cut off. As long as I cut off around an inch or more it was fine. I made 32 cuts on 42” wide panels across the ribs and a couple lengthwise cuts totaling about 30 feet and the blade cut as well on the last cut as it did the first. I did notice a few teeth are chipped, but it still cuts fine. I am really glad I purchased this and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s planning to install metal roofing or siding. ... show more

  • Worked Perfectly!
Style: 7 1/4", 68T
I had to replace my house gutters and all the boards along the eaves but there was a problem. The house already had steel roofing installed, but it was not put on evenly. It's an older house and was not built quite square so the owner must have tried to compensate without cutting each sheet to size, leaving a very noticeable "zig-zag" pattern along the eaves. In some places it stuck out over the eaves over 4 inches, making some of the rain runoff overshoot the gutter. In order to make the gutters catch all the rain runoff I decided to trim the ends so they'd be closer to the eaves and on an even line. I found out about this blade from a video and tried it, and it worked like a charm. It would have been easier to cut the metal before it was installed, but it did go fast and left a relatively smooth finish. I also used this blade to trim my aluminum gutters to the correct length. It's a great product! Note: Cutting metal is LOUD so I wore ear muffs, and it does throw tiny bits of metal as it cuts so you definitely need to wear long sleeves, gloves and goggles. I also wore a face mask to protect from the flying metal pieces. Afterwards I painted over the cut ends with a metal paint to help keep prevent rusting. ... show more

  • Cuts through Metal Roofing without problem
Style: 7 1/4", 68T
I looked at methods of cutting sheet metal roofing and finally settled on this blade in my circular saw. It works better than cutoff wheels in a grinder, last much longer and cuts quicker and cooler as well. The only downside is that it sprays molten specs of razor sharp steel absolutely everywhere, and with a noisy vengeance. Full protective gear is a must. I even had one hot metal chip land under my safety glasses (most likely due to the West Texas wind.) Overall, much quicker and more affordable than cutting with a grinder, albeit a bit more risky. ... show more

  • it cuts metal!
Style: 7 1/4", 48T
it actually cuts metal! who would have thought. I’m a general contractor. i bought it to cut some corrugated metal roofing. it cut it like a hot knife trough butter. no joke. next i used it on a bunch of wood with nails. a demolition blade to cut up stuff. cuts wood quite well on a skill saw. next i cut up 1/2 rebar. cuts that too. i probably cut 50 rebar. still works. ive used it for about a year as a demo blade. recently had another job where i needed to cut steel unistrut. i bought a second blade because i had already punched out the arbor for use on my skill saw and i wanted to use it on my chop saw. guess what? second blade worked as well as the first. cut about 20 cuts on unistrut. clean cuts might i add. it beats making a bunch of sparks compared to a using abrasive cut off wheel and allot faster. then i cut some aluminum about 3/16 thick using the chop saw blade. it cut that too and did not gum up the blade. in short i would recommend it. oh yah. it is so dang loud when cutting metal. wear hearing protection, glasses, dust mask, and long a long sleeve shirt. ... show more
