The media could not be loaded. After purchasing the desk and 5 tiered bookshelf that matches this... I HAD to get this bookshelf. My home office was growing rapidly and I needed more space for my files. This bookshelf is perfect! It was very easy to put together and is sturdy. I have my coffee bar on the top shelf for quick caffeine access, my files on the second shelf and more office needed items on the bottom with more space to place files if need be. If you purchase any of these bookshelves, be sure to notice WHERE the holes are on the “arms” of these things. I goofed by not fully reading the instructions and had to redo some of the work. I was too excited to have a completed office. I would highly recommend these to friends, family and strangers! Great product! Definitely doesn’t feel cheap and SO easy to put together

I couldn’t even put this together because the holes were so warped that nothing stay together it collapsed as soon as we put it up because I waited it to put it together I can’t get a refund. This is unfair that I have a product sitting in a box that I can’t do anything with. Don’t waste your money

As I was assembling the shelf, I had two frames screwed in as tightly as possible. I went to slide the shelf down so I could screw in the third frame and the first one popped out and totally stripped out. I’ve assembled furniture similar to this and nothing like this has happened. I’d hope the frame was strong enough that I could slide it on carpet without it immediately pulling out. For $130 I’m super disappointed. I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning so my husband is going to try to glue the screws back in. Super disappointing! 2 stars because it is a beautiful piece of furniture.

Easy to put together, although I’ve put together a ton of bookshelves over the years. Don’t tighten all the bolts until you’ve loosely placed them in the holes and then tighten them in, etc. overall this bookshelf is lovely. Works nicely with the desk/table from the same company. I anticipated using it for books... my kids had other intentions and now they each use one “side” for their laptop and they use it as a desk. It works great! Shelves are thick and “grained” too look like wood.

The product arrived on time and with no damage. However, the two boards for the bottom two shelves does not fit as they should be. The boards are too short and the holes on one end of the boards could not be aligned with the holes on the metal frame. The boards can can not be screwed onto the frame on this one end of both boards. I believe one other reviewer mentioned the same problem. Because the other four holes on the same board align well and the other four screws can hold the boards in place. This product should not have passed QC. On the other hand, it is usable.

I almost finished assembling this bookshelf and when I went to add on the cute crisscross accent in the back none of the poles were the correct length. So now I have this half built bookshelf sitting in my room and will have to completely disassemble, re-box and drag to the post office to return. Do not recommend this furniture. UPDATE: seller sent a new bookshelf and I was able to assemble this one very easily. It looks great and is decent quality. So I changed my 2 stars to 4, thank you for quickly fixing the issue.

The visual instruction are pretty simple to follow. There are no written instructions, so look very carefully at the metal frame pre-drilled holes for proper installation of the metal cross brackets.

We really these shelves. The only difficulty with assembly is that you have to pay careful attention to the placement of the crossbars in back as you assemble it so that you get the right ones in the right places from the start.
