The boots fit well are are comfortable. The boa system is awesome. As a maintenance tech in not on my feet all day. Some times my knees, back or belly. So having the boa im not snagging laces, or burning them with weld or grind. 6 months of 8 to 10 hr use and still are holding up.

These boots are some of the best quality boots I’ve worn in two decades and I have 4E wide flat feet and require medical orthotics and this boot fits everything well(if use cushioned hiking socks like darn tough for loose space between top of foot). They seem to be waterproof yet work well in conjunction with merino wool to allow evaporation. They are easy to put on and take off, these boots seem to have good slip resistance and are well rounded whether you’re out and about or working. ... show more

    • They're good but there are some caveats

So I will say that these are pretty good boots and they have lasted quite a while. They have not broken down they have not split apart and I have put them through their Paces in my field of work. The caveat though is that these boots are absolutely uncomfortable at first. In fact it was so uncomfortable that I could barely do the entire day at work with them. But I went out and got me my work insoles and that made a very big difference. With the new insoles and some good break in along with mink oil these boots did the job at a pretty good price. The size of the boot fit perfectly. I absolutely love the style because I love the rubber toe look. They are very functional and lightweight. The only downside was how badly uncomfortable These boots were in the beginning. But it might not be that way for you. Definitely give him a try if you're not looking to spend $250 or more on some boots ... show more

Im a union laborer for Local 79. We walk a lot and on ur feet all day. I received mine today. I purchased a size 9 and made sure to choose the wide option, I have wide feet and regular sized shoes are usually to narrow for my feet. Lordy lordt, these boots feel amazing. Like a nice warm secure hug on ur feet. They are nice and light, not heavy at all compared to all the other Redwings/Irish Setters I’ve owned b4. They have truly outdone themselves with these in particular. They’re very comfortable the BOA system is very innovative. Quick release when u pull the little nob thing, rotate when u want to tighten it. These boots feel so good. Would give them more stars if I could. Wearing them tmr and really give em a spin and see how they hold up. Will give an update soon after. They feel so good that I don’t even think I gotta break em in, they’re that comfy. ... show more

I loved these boots at first but the bottom layer on both boots is starting fallling off. The BOA system is still great and i love it. When I came back to edit my review i noticed only the 5 star reviews were here but when I left it initially there were much more reviews than that. They're being shady with the reviews and the boots aren't good quality. i've had them for 3 months. UPDATE: 9 months in and they're practically falling apart. garbage boot. These are really nice boots. I work in all kinds of weather. My socks stay dry all day. Very sturdy and have actually lasted for a very long time. I usually have to replace my boots every 3-5 months. These have lasted way beyond that.
