The first time I received the set of three tubs with lids, half of the black plastic handles were broken off. A small piece of black breaks off so the handle cannot be reattached. I returned for exchange and the replacement shipment had 1 handle broken ... wish I could just return the broken one and get on with using the two that are fully functional. Doesn't seem to be a way to request a refund for just the broken one. REVISED: someone else posted that the vendor IRIS took care of their broken product so I emailed them as well since exchanging through Amazon was unlikely to result in success. Within a few days, I received by mail from IRIS directly a replacement handle! Wow. These are really nice products it's just that Amazon takes the IRIS box clearly marked FRAGILE do not drop and puts it inside a box that has no such marking. So those delivering have no idea they should treat it as if it will break. Thank you IRIS...I am a loyal customer now.

Bought a set of 4 containers, and one was broken. Could not return/refund one, had to return the whole set. That's not the largest problem though -- the item's dimensions are advertised as ~ 18"x28". In reality, these are the dimensions of the outer edges of the lid. The actual container is 15"x25". This is a very misleading approach. When I shop, I have the dimensions that I need in mind, and when I see container dimensions, I expect to fit an object of those dimensions inside the container. Who cares how large the lid is. Waste of time.

I think these drawers are nice quality, and I like that they are completely enclosed, unlike other options for under bed storage. However, the drawer sometimes catches on part of the plastic on the bottom and will not close all the way without having to physically lift it from the base of the drawer. It’s really frustrating

These “under-bed” storage drawers have changed the way I live. I bought 7 of them (sold individually back then) a few years back to organize my kids’ art supplies and thought they were great. When we recently moved, wrangling all my own art supplies from all across the house was a nightmare. The movers came and I had so many assorted boxes of stuff, it was a time consuming and disorganized headache! Then they grabbed a roll of tape, wrapped the entire tower of drawers filled with my kids art stuff and carried it out to the truck in one simple move. I realized then how amazing these drawers are. When we got to my new house I immediately ordered 12 more for all my own art supplies. I’ve labeled them with just one type of item per drawer and for the first time in my whole life feel like I have control over my space and supplies. The quality is solid. The drawers slide smooth and easy. They stack securely. They’re the perfect size for large items. They’re deep enough to fit almost every item that needs to go in them, but shallow enough that I can see everything without it getting buried under other stuff. The footprint is small enough that you don’t need a big space, but large enough to stack tall and get a lot of vertical, usable storage. The drawers and their frames stack like legos so if I want to reorder the supplies I can just take them off, reorganize and restack as I like it, without emptying drawers or pulling off labels. And if I ever need to move I know the movers can just tape a stack together in a minute. For a few I’ll probably line them with rubber drawer liner so the items in the front don’t slide to the back if I haven’t filled the back yet. That happens when you open and close them. I just ordered 8 more. At $20/pc they’re a great value. I probably should get even more than that, as I plan to put my kids’ art and other stuff I’ve saved in mismatched bins into organized drawers by kid/grade.

Between the manufacturer and Amazon there could be more done to protect the product. I received mine, box in a box, and the Amazon box was crushed on one side. Inside there was just some brown wrap, not nearly enough to provide any substantial padding. Three of the handles had their nubs broken off. One handle was in tact but not attached. Still usable, and I was able to fix the handles with some epoxy and scrap metal rod. My suggestion to the manufacturer, leave the handles off. You can see the comments where they arrive broken. This will cut down on returns. They aren't super difficult to attach. Amazon, if you're going to do a box in a box, add some better protection for the product. This will also help reduce returns. Both could have done better.
