This IREMMO Adjustable Base for Washer and Dryer is a versatile product. There were limited instructions for assembly, but it was pretty intuitive and only took a few minutes. Be sure to insert all the 14.5 inch stainless steel tubes just enough that they hold in place first, before pushing them in all the way and locking the buckles down or you will have trouble getting the last corner piece in. There are 8 levelers that get inserted into individual channels, and sit just below the surface, so you don't need to worry about them getting bumped, scraped, or having weight laying on them. The listing says it can hold 440lbs which I haven't tested, but seems possible. Being adjustable from 20-26in is accurate. The double wheels are made of PVC and seem like they will hold up well. They swivel 360 degrees and can be locked in place with a foot pedal. (I am not strong enough to engage the lock with just my hands, but they do work when stepping on them.) There are 4 round "shockproof" pads that are peel and stick for the top corners of the base. They are holding well for now, but since the base that they get stuck onto is kind of a raised honeycomb, I don't think they would stick for long if you are frequently sliding something on and off the base. If you are using the unit with the feet in place, they can be adjusted in height so that they are just barely above the ground, or at their maximum height, you have about 9cm clearance from the ground to the underside of the base. (In case you are wondering if you can store something underneath.) We are more likely to use this as a furniture mover. For that, the 8 adjustable height feet can be removed either by twisting off the adjustable plastic foot (gives you 3cm clearance from the floor), or by using a screw driver to remove the entire foot completely which gives you just under 6.5cm of clearance from the bottom of the base to the ground. ... show more

This is a really great mobile base, and I'm sure it would be wonderful for the mini-fridge, washer, or dryer that the manufacturer intended it for. That's not how I'm using it, but I'll explain that later below. As advertised, the base width and length are adjustable, to any rectangular combination between 20 and 26 inches on each side. It assembles and adjusts very easily, without any tools. The four corner pieces are heavy-duty plastic, and bear all the weight. Each one has a lockable roller, and two adjustable feet. The corner pieces are joined into a solid unit by a pair of square steel tubes on each side, which are locked in place by latches on the underside of the corner piece. Although I didn't use them, the package also comes with 4 non-skid patches to stick onto the corner of the corner pieces, and 8 small levels (which aren't mentioned in the instructions at all). Instead of a washer, dryer, or fridge in my home, I'm using it to support a drill-press in my workshop, which is in my garage. As you can see in the first photo, the base of the tool is shorter than 20 inches in both dimentions. Luckily, not so short that the load misses the corner pieces, but definitely not hitting on them in the very corner, where the manufacturer intends it to be. So far, it's holding up very nicely. It's clear that the manufacturer intends the base to sit on the legs most of the time, and not on the rollers, so I'll be interested to see how they hold up long term (because I'll be moving this tool around all the time, not parking it in one place). My only complain is that, since my garage floor is concrete and a little bumpy, there's not enough clearance. As you can see in the second photo, even with the legs retracted as far as possible, and the rollers taking all the load, the legs skim the floor, less than a quarter inch from it. Which would probably be fine for a washer in the laundry room or a fridge in the kitchen, but on a floor that isn't perfectly smooth, like my garage, there isn't enough space. So, 5 stars, because it's a great help, even if I'm abusing it for an unintended purpose, and because it's mostly working out under that abuse. I use this weekly while cleaning up around the yard. I schlep my 30 year old garbage can on it - makes sense to me. Less schlepping. I was able to move a large 200lb antique cupboard extremely easily about 100 ft. Before rolling over uneven surfaces I recommend taking off the adjustable legs so that there is enough clearance. I got caught on a few sidewalk edges and uneven pavement. I really appreciate that it's adjustable and that most moving parts lock in place. Recommend! ... show more
