    • Great for Samsung Z-Flip
Time required was about 20 minutes. The YouTube video explains it all. Turn off the phone to avoid squeegee-dialing Hong Kong. Clean the screen thoroughly, then spray both sides of the protector with the provided liquid and apply it to the screen. Use the squeegee to push out bubbles and liquid. Then you're done. For me, the next step was to fret over all of the little bubbles left behind that I couldn't get out. The provided spray actually dries rather quickly, and it's needed to maintain fluidity between the screen and its protector. Pushing out the bubbles also pushes out that liquid, which means than they move more slowly with each swipe. The manufacturer states that the small remaining bubbles will go away over the next few days. I assumed that was a lie. It wasn't. By the same time the next day I realized that all but one of the bubbles was gone. I battled that one for one more day, driving it slowly to the edge with my thumbnail. This was probably unnecessary. By the second day it was obviously smaller, and by the third day it was gone anyway. I like the smooth rubbery texture of it. It looks great. It didn't break my phone, which is a big plus. Being that I have a folding phone I was careful to make sure the center fold was affixed and squeegeed before smoothing out both upper and lower screens. That little bit of dip needs the extra slack, which it won't get if the top and bottom portions are already stuck. I also figured that it doesn't need as much slack when folded, which is bad, because I don't want it adhering to the crease only after the phone is folded and then pulling on both sides when I open it again. That seemed like a good way to wreck the phone. So, I lined up the camera at the top, then cursorily rubbed the top, then rubbed it into the crease, then cursorily rubbed down the bottom. Then I chased out the bubbles until they stopped moving. I was also careful not to fold the phone for at least a couple of days to prevent it from shifting and then drying in the folded shape (and then pulling at the screens when I opened it again). ... show more

    • Broke my screen - avoid at all costs
I applied this screen protector according to the provided instructions on my Samsung Z Flip 4. The installation went ok, the screen protector was in place and phone was functioning normally. However, I believe the screen protector applied too much stress to the screen at the phone's hinge location. A week later, my screen began to form a small bubble on one side at the hinge under the screen protector. Soon after I noticed this, the screen failed and stopped working completely. Notably the outer cover screen still works, just the inner screen with the screen protector was damaged. I hadn't done anything to damage my screen and I never had any trouble with screen protectors in the past. I believe it had to have been this screen protector. IQShield claims there is 100% satisfaction guaranteed but there is seemingly no way to contact them on their website. I would avoid this screen protector at all costs. ... show more

So most of these types of screen protectors are pretty much the same. Self-healing, they have a little elasticity to them, and they come with a squeegee, microfiber lens cleaning cloth, and a spray solution to help install it. As well as some kind of warranty. But that is where the similarities end. The IQ Shield comes with everything I just mentioned, but their warranty is AMAZING! If I ever have an issue with the product, or if I goof up on the install, or a myriad of other scenarios, they will replace the screen protector! Never have I seen this kind of warranty from other screen protectors and I've used about 6 different brands over the years. However none of them have instilled this much confidence in me using their product to help protect my devices. Definitely a 5 star product! Buy with the security of knowing that IQ Shield will make it right if something goes wrong with your screen protector during the install, and for the life of the screen protector after it has been installed! I will purchase again for my Samsung Flip 4 phones! ... show more

    • Very Good Z Flip 4 Replacement Screen Protector - Cover Your Charging Port
I love my Samsung Z Flip 4, but had to replace the screen protector (hinge bubbles) while still under warranty at no cost to me. Nine months later, same thing. I ordered the IQ Shield to see if it would be an acceptable alternative. -Easy installation/application and after more than a month it seems to be holding up well at the hinge. - IMPORTANT: Remember to tape/cover your charging port or there may be liquid seeping into it when you squeegee after applying the spray and screen protector.. If so, use a hair dryer on low setting to dry it out. -Overall VERY happy with my decision to opt for the IQ Shield over a new $$ Samsung screen protector.
