My grandson really enjoyed building it. But, the first one we bought didn’t work. Very disappointed as it was a Christmas gift . We returned it and got a replacement in only a few days. He put it together twice as fast and it works. Happy day.

This is not an easy project for an 8 year old or even an adult. However, my 8 year old grandson was determined and finished it in two days. I would buy another one for him.

Got this bad boy built over the weekend. It says 6 and up I believe.... Not for 6yrs old!!? It took me 2 1/2 hours to build this. No way a child of any age could follow the directions, which are hard to read the color codes. That was a big let down, as I purchased 2 for both kids (7 &8) to build and play with on their own. Super tiny pcs .... They are loving them now that I built them, but half of all the fun was lost spending half day building 2 robots which the aggravation level meant they couldn't help ... show more
