This screen protector was very easy to apply. I put it on before bed a few days ago and the next morning it looked perfect. I am one of those that is bothered by bubbles and crooked applications so I need something I can install perfectly. I will update this review if this product doesn't meet my expectations for durability. That said, I don't expect any screen protector to last forever. I usually end up scratching them. Scratches on the protector saves the screen of my Fitbit from scratches so this is money well spent. The ones that drive me crazy are the ones that peel up from the corners, they usually do so in a couple of days. This one looks like a keeper! Update: The first protector has lasted five months and is going strong. I never had the stick on ones last more than a few weeks.     • I didn't like this screen protector when I first put it on ...
I didn't like this screen protector when I first put it on because it looked like the plastic film that would come on it and you would need to pull off before wearing. HOWEVER, the next day it is basically invisible where I can't even tell it is on! So 5 stars for being great!

I got this product hoping to protect my FitBit Charge 2 from scratches and whatnot, which it did a great job of. However, when I took the screen off, as the edges were wearing out and I was going to put on a new one, as I removed the screen, it took off chunks of my screen as well. Now there are obvious sites in the picture, and when I sent this and my complaint to customer service they left me with my broken screen. The only compensation they offered was new screen protectors. But as those protectors are the cause of the problem, I obviously will not be using them again. Customer service neglected the fact that their product ruined my FitBit and did nothing to fix the problem. DO NOT BUY. ... show more

Update: It's now almost eight months since I first applied the IQ Shield to my Charge 2, and it's still clinging snugger than Kim Jong-un's tighty-whiteys at an all-you-can-eat buffet. If ever a product deserved five stars, this is it. The IQ Shield screen protector went on as smooth as liquid silk; a perfect fit; no bubbles; no loose edges; and no cussing. The kit comes with everything needed. The instructions are excellent, the application couldn't be easier, the price is reasonable, and it isn't shipped via slow boat from China. I did try another company's protectors first, and they were a disaster. I ended up losing the first one before the end of day one. The second protector from that company didn't fall off, but it had more bubbles than an exotic dancer, and the edges wouldn't stay down. My daughter, who had previously purchased and installed an IQ Shield screen protector on her Samsung Galaxy 7, highly recommended I try the IQ Shield brand screen protector for my Fitbit Charge 2. Since I usually take my kids' advice (afterall, they'll be choosing my nursing home some day), I decided to give the IQ Shield protectors a try; I'm very happy I listened to her. I normally love IQ shield products, I have used them for several Fitbit and smart watches. I love that it is self-healing. My only issue is that due to the nature of the charger it squeezes the screen protector right off. At first it would regain it's shape after a couple hours. But now it doesn't.

    • DO NOT APPLY TO A CRACKED SCREEN
Do not use if you are trying to protect a previously cracked screen!! I removed my current protector before I realized I lost the multi pack of screen protectors I've used in the past without issue, so I bought this brand. Even using the smallest about of their spray possible, I ended up with water inside my fitbit and now it won't turn on unless I reset it, and then it turns right back off. I've had it in a bag of silica beads all day, hoping it recovers. The crack in my screen is small and without a protector on was watertight during daily use (hand washing, yard work, etc). The process of applying the protector caused the water damage. I did follow the directions on the YouTube video that the company put out. ... show more

Don't be like *this guy* and take the band off before installation. Also, you can't turn your Charge 2 off. I don't know why they keep saying to turn it off... Anyway, a little bit of sudsy spray and the clear cover make my Fitbit a lot happier! It even hides the surface scratches I already had on my Charge 2! ... show more

    • Really does go on easily
I was surprised at how easily the screen protector goes on. The instructions in the box basically say "watch the video". The video is helpful - I've never used spray before and certainly would not have dreamed about spraying the adhesive side. The beautiful thing about this installation is that you don't have to line it up first. That's what always gets me on the iphone screen protectors. This one you just slap on there and then move it around where you want it. Really hard to screw this up. I know some of you will take that as a personal challenge, so yes - I'm sure there is some way to mess it up. (put it on upside down or on the wrist side of the fitbit - pretty sure that'll do it) After installation I can't tell that there is a screen protector on there. If I line it up in the light just right I can see an edge, but you have to really look for it. Overall, very happy with this purchase. Not sure why someone would need six of them. I just gave some of the other ones to coworkers. 1/10/18 update: About 5 months in and still on the original screen protector. Still unnoticeable - no scratches or nicks. And I wear it literally all the time except for showering and charging. ... show more
