I was so happy with my first purchase from this brand that I had to buy this smaller speaker for easier transport. It's not to say that the other speaker was particularly hard to carry as it was made specially for being transported, but I felt a smaller speaker would be less obnoxious and just take up less of an overall footprint in the trunk of my Jeep. It's definitely bigger than I expected but not a deal breaker. Best of all and just like it's larger version, I am seriously impressed by the sound quality of this speaker. It's bright, clear and has a massive amount of natural bass without being overwhelming. Out of the box, it charged up quickly and was super easy to pair with. I love that it comes with a charging cord and a carrying paracord already attached. Build and material quality seem great. It's perfect for streaming music when you're tailgating, hanging out at the lake/river/beach, or any other situation where you'd want to listen to music. I use my bigger one mostly for running on the treadmill at home so this little one is now my tailgating speaker (I have a tiny but mighty portable S3 from S**** specifically for hiking). Although a bit old school, I like that you can insert a micro SD card and play music that way so you don't need to connect to a phone at all. There are some nice features on this bluetooth speaker but the claim of up to 20 hours of playtime is a joke. I've found that the battery is dead after just 5 to 6 hours of being fully charged. And in situations where you can plug it into a USB charger while playing, it fails there, too. When plugged in while playing, the speaker beeps every fews seconds, destroying the music. Unless you only plan to use this speaker for a short time between charging, it's useless. ... show more
