This is a great case! It's heavier than I expected, but now that I'm used to it, I actually like that it has some heft to it. It just feels sturdier and safer to me. The batter life on the keyboard is great, although it does tend to take a bit longer than I'd like to reconnect after it has gone dormant. The hinge felt a little flimsy to me at first, but as long as you're gentle with it, it shouldn't be an issue. I appreciate that I can configure this just about any way I want--I often flip it around to cover the keyboard when I just need the tablet or "tent" it when I'm watching shows while I work or using it to read recipes in the kitchen. I hate trackpads in general, so I like that I could disable this one and just leave it off. Other models I looked at required you to disable the trackpad every time you turned the keyboard on. The rainbow backlighting is distracting for me, so I like that I can just set it to white lights. If I could improve one thing about it (well, besides the connection lag), I would make the stylus holder adjustable. I use a cover on my stylus to help protect my $80 investment, and it doesn't fit in the holder. If the stylus holder were elastic or maybe adjustable velcro, it would be awesome.

I purchased this iPad keyboard case to use with my iPad during a multi-day work industry conference. I did not want to have to lug around my laptop when travelling (and all of its accessories) and this presented as a good solution. The GOOD - My iPad fit right into the case, perfectly without any issues. Pairing the laptop to the keyboard case was as easy as pairing any other bluetooth enabled device. The keyboard has the option to illuminate/backlight the keys in multiple colors - which is very helpful especially in a dark conference hall. The keyboard surface itself is slim and comfortable if you have smaller hands. The trackpad is very responsive and I like that you can use the trackpad and or touch screen of the iPad at the same time if you want/need to. The case opens completely and swivels easily, allowing you to adjust the viewing angle at any time. The pen loop on the side is also a nice addition - as even though I do not have a stylus, I was able to store a regular ink pen in it. Once charged fully I was able to use the keyboard for the entirety of the trip (about a weeklong) without having to recharge. Powering the keyboard on and off was easy. The OK - I do not consider anything about this product to be "bad", however there are some things that in hindsight I would consider strongly. The weight - the case adds a significant amount of weight to my iPad, in fact it more than doubled the overall weight, yet it still proved to be lighter than my laptop. And speaking of weight - even though it was relatively heavy, the iPad still felt a bit top heavy when the keyboard was open. As in, when I sat it in my lap during the conference, if I opened the screen just a hair too far, the whole thing would want to topple over. Charging is a bit of a nuisance but not terrible, as the USB plug supplied has a very short cable and a charging block is not supplied. Since this keyboard was designed to work with an iPad, it would be great it the charging used a lightning cable instead. Lastly, this keyboard case offers zero shock/impact protection for your iPad. The part that holds the iPad is a lightweight plastic and does not give me any confidence if bumped or dropped. Overall - A very useful keyboard case, great functions, works well with my iPad, and is a really great alternative to lugging around the old company issued laptop for a worktrip.

I have used this swivel keyboard for quite a while before writing this review. It has been very reliable and has not broken in any way even though I use it regularly. Being able to swivel the keyboard in many directions has made it much more convenient to use my iPad, even when lying in bed.
