The instructions were clear, easy to follow, there weren’t a ton of pieces to put together, and it probably took me 30 minutes to complete. Bonus- the screws match the color of the bookshelf as well so they blend in & don’t stand out (feature I didn’t know I wanted)! I like the color (green). Pretty easy to assemble. My only complaint is the screws that show. I didn't notice them on the picture when I ordered (I should have read more reviews) However, the screw heads are painted the same color as the wood..which helps make them less visible. Easy to assemble. Solid product. Looks good. They included an attachment bit insert that allows you to use your screwdriver to substitute for the allen wrench, helped alot. Very thoughtful addition.

I agree with other reviews that it’s easy to assemble and a decent value, but if you want to anchor it to the wall you’ll run into some issues. Firstly, I don’t see how you could anchor it with the backing piece on it, I think you can only anchor with the shelves open. Secondly, and more importantly, the anchor screws provided are too long, and would go through the top of the shelf if you used them as instructed. I’ve included a picture with the anchor piece and screw next to the part of the shelf it’s intended to go in. Would make for a ruined top and a safety hazard. I also don’t think this shelf would be at all stable on carpet unanchored. ... show more
