I saw some reviews saying the watch is not working, but the people don't read before buy... this watch doesn't have Battery!!! It is important to take the mechanical hand-wound watch off your wrist if you want to wind it. By winding it while you are wearing it, you put undue stress on the crown (sometimes referred to as stem) from an odd position. By taking it in your hand to wind it, you minimize the stress on the winding system. It is also a good idea to wind your hand-wound watch every morning before putting it on to ensure its power doesn’t run out. ... show more

I bought this because it was a gift but it came in this awful plastic box, I want to think that due to Black Friday they run out of goods and starting scamming people. Having fallen into the 'my phone tells time' trap, it was very nice to get back to basics. This is a solid watch made by Invicta and the skeleton face and back keep things interesting. Yes, it needs to be wound but I consider that part of its charm. No texts, step counter, etc. Just tell me the time and keep it moving.
