I read all the Reviews marked 3-Stars & below...and I really haven't seen anything like that. I just took the watch to get it sized to my wrist, and even they said it was a very nice watch, so I doubt an experienced Jeweler would mistaken a "fake" Invicta for a real. Also...the band is a little flimsy(i guess), but I bought it for the size of the face, and the band is clearly metal, not plastic. Which brings me to another problem I dont understand...The seller clearly showed a picture of the watch next to a regular sized Casio. I LOVED IT! I like big watches mainly due to the fact that I have thick wrist (not skinny ones) along with HUGE hands! So I feel bad for anyone who might feel small, cause the watch "weighs" them down. I end with this...so far(1 week), I have no complaints. I've worn it 3 times...get a lot of compliments, and if the paint comes off somehow on the band...I will simply replace it. That doesn't change the fact that its a GREAT WATCH FOR THE PRICE! Looking to buy another one already. ... show more

Maybe we are a little starved for choice here in Australia, so when I saw this watch on special on the Black Friday sales I jumped at the opportunity to buy it. While waiting for the watch to arrive I was a little worried about some of the reviews coming through. However when the watch arrived last week I was very happy to see the watch was exactly what I expected. As others have stated, the watch is pretty big but at present it's a look that has some street cred. The watch I received was very well packed and everything works and the quality of the band (metal) and dial etc was excellent. I have to wait until Christmas before I can actually start wearing this watch but for looks and value for money it was a fantastic buy. ... show more

Just received this great watch and all I can say is that I'm amazed. It's definitely huge but so, maybe I'll go to the gym more often to make it look even better. Of course, at the locking points the black bracelet gets scratched but I don't think it's possible not to. It's metal over metal, scratching on each other, so it's normal for the paint to scratch. Definitely NOT A FAKE, this I can tell. I don't know how people can say it's a fake only by looking at the fact that the mechanism is made by IsaSwiss (from Swiss, get it?) but in China...Many things are fabricated in China. For example Sony makes most of the things there, but you don't say you'll not gonna buy it because it from China, you'll trust Sony. Here also, I don't care if the mechanism is made in China by another company than Invicta, I cannot say only from this reason that it's a fake. Or to give 1 star review because it's big...people, it has a picture with the size...ok, not so suggestive as having the real thing on your hand but still, you have been warned. Overall I'm happy with it, maybe if it was 5 mm smaller I would have loved it even more. ... show more

I just got the watch as a gift in the mail from Amazon.com All I can say is Awsome watch and great fast service!! This watch is definately worth it and cost a lot less then what I saw for at a few Jewelery stores around my way. The case it comes in is also great to store the watch when I am not wearing it to prevent the glass from scratches and tears. I am simple happy with the gift and the service with AMAZON.     • Should've heeded the warning signs
Well, despite reading some negative reviews and the almost too-good-to-be-true price cut, I decided to take a chance on this watch. After receiving it back in late December (2012) I did come to fully understand some of the existing reviewers' remarks about the very small date display along with the misaligned seconds hand. However, I did appreciate the face size, general heft, and overall layout design of the body/face of this watch and decided I could put up with the seconds hand not falling "exactly" where it should as it made its orbital trek while performing its time-keeping duty. Things seemed to be going well with the watch until a week ago when one morning as I was putting it on I noticed that the seconds hand had come completely off its mounting point! Well look at that! It's now floating freely within the face compartment. Leading up to this on several occasions the seconds hand had gotten stuck on the hour hand and after a few firm taps on the covering it "broke free" and resumed its predictable course. Oh, almost forgot to mention that the coating on the band started prematurely wearing in several spots weeks before that ... a bit unsightly, but could deal with it. I own several watches and rotate through them throughout the week, so by no means did this thing receive jarring or unusual treatment. I work at a desk for my day job, so nothing especially harsh there. Should've heeded the warnings and stayed away, but I let that big, beautiful face lure me in. My husband bought this watch knowing it would be huge, and it is, but also a very beautiful watch. I think it looks very nice on him and he likes it a lot. For the price, it is a great deal!! We paid extra and took it to a watch station at the mall and had the links removed professionally. That was worth the $$ to have a perfect fit. So if you are looking for a BIG, NICE watch to add to your collection, this is it. ... show more

I bought this watch about a year and a half ago, and wear it a couple times a week. It is much larger than I thought it would be when I saw the pictures on the listing page, but I really like the size, it definitely stands out. Build quality and water-proofness seem to be pretty decent as I haven't had any problems with it and stands up to every day wear and tear very nicely. A nice addition to the collection. ... show more
