I am in love with this!! My kids are obsessed with this as well! I got my 4 year old son this version of the Echo Dot and I got my 6 year old daughter the same thing with the Disney princess version. They are both beyond obsessed with them! I haven’t bought an echo device in a while so I was absolutely blown away with how far they have come in the last couple of years. The sound quality and speaker that is in these is beyond any expectations that I could have dreamed of! The speakers are incredible!! You can hear the songs so well and so clear throughout the house. It was an absolute breeze to set up through the Alexa app on my phone. In minutes we were set and good to go. We got their voices paired with each device so that they can navigate their own device easily. It’s quickly connected and stays connected without any issues. The pictures on the front of each is very colorful and quite well done. Alexa herself has become highly intuitive and very clever. I am so impressed with all the skills and abilities that she has. My kids are in love! They are playing their favorite songs through Spotify, playing games with Alexa, hearing stories told to them, they have personalized alarm settings greeting them wirh custom songs and gentle voice memos saying “ time to get up! Wake up, sleepy head” in the sweetest and most playful and fun way! They can ask for bedtime lullabies so that gentle and comforting music plays while they are falling asleep. I truly am blow away wit this thing! It comes with complimentary Alexa + and Amazon Kids + subscriptions for like 6 months - and both of these additional features bring a lot of new life to the traditional Alexa devices. I have been really impressed with them as I am learning what all is truly available at our simplest voice commands. I still am learning and have a lot to lean in order to really get the best results for each kids needs. But no complaints here. I think this was a great Christmas gift and such a great deal that I got it for. Wonderful value and super gift. You can’t go wrong with this for your little ones. They will adore it, I am certain every kid can find something they really enjoy with it. Give it a try!

Color: Marvel's Avengers
Configuration: Device only
My son absolutely loves this Avengers Echo Pop! The Marvel design is fun, and one of our favorite features is that it includes different character voices and interactions for the kids. That was such a creative touch and made it much more exciting than a standard smart speaker. Setup was quick and easy, and we had it ready to use in just a few minutes. I also appreciate the parental controls and kid friendly features. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can manage what my children have access to while still letting them enjoy music, stories, and asking Alexa questions. Overall, this has been a great addition to our home. If you have a child who loves Marvel, this is a fun and practical gift that they’ll be excited to use every day.

Color: Anthro Pup
Configuration: Device only
Got the Echo Pop Kids in the Anthro Pup design (that cool dog with headphones and shades) for my 6-year-old, and it’s been a game-changer for bedtime and playtime. Setup was straightforward through the Alexa app—created a child profile, set parental controls (time limits, content filters, activity monitoring), and the included 6 months of Amazon Kids+ kicked in right away. Sound is surprisingly good for such a compact, rounded speaker—clear vocals for stories, music from kid-safe playlists, and Alexa answers questions appropriately without adult content. The silicone sleeve feels durable and kid-proof, plus there’s a physical mic-off button for extra privacy peace of mind. My son loves asking for bedtime stories, animal facts, jokes, or playing songs—he’s obsessed with the pup look and calls it his “DJ buddy.” We’ve used it daily for routines like morning alarms or homework help skills. No issues with connectivity or quality after a couple months. At $49.99 with the free Kids+ trial (worth about $30), it’s a great value compared to bigger Echo Dot Kids models. Highly recommend for ages 3-10ish—perfect balance of fun and parent-approved safety

I bought an Amazon Alexa for each of my kids and it has been such a great addition to our home. It is extremely kid-friendly and easy to use — both of my kids were able to set it up and use it just by speaking, which surprised me in the best way. What I love most is the parental controls. Everything is managed right from my phone, so I can monitor what they listen to, set limits, and feel confident about what they’re accessing. At night, Alexa has become part of our bedtime routine. The Disney stories are a favorite and help my kids relax and fall asleep faster, which is a win for everyone. Overall, this has been a fun, helpful, and safe device for kids. I would definitely recommend it to parents looking for an easy-to-use smart device that grows with their child.
