  • Surprisingly comfortable, structurally sound.
Style: Queen
I bought this as a temporary bed when I moved into a new apartment. I didn't want a cheap "camping-type" air mattress, I wanted something a little higher-end that would last. Honestly? This is surprisingly comfortable and for the price you can't go wrong. I love how it has a built-in inflation system, it took less than 3 minutes to fully inflate. And if it's too firm for you, you can turn a dial to let out as much air as you like. Now, after I got my cat, I realized that it had a slow leak . . . somewhere. I'm sure the leak was from my cat's nails, because I had been sleeping on the mattress for two months and had no issues. I wasn't able to actually find the leak, but it was a super slow one and I never woke up in the middle of the night on the floor or anything. Maybe in a much squishier bed than I started with earlier in the evening, but it's structurally sound enough that it kept its shape even without as much air in it. A few weeks after the slow leak, I got a real bed, and deflating this mattress was a snap. Should I have guests in the future, I'll definitely use it, slow leak and all. As I said, it's not that big of a deal. Overall, if you're looking for a high-quality, surprisingly comfortable air mattress, for a great price, I highly recommend this one. ... show more

  • AMAZING STEAL OF A DEAL!!!!
Style: Queen
One of the few living products where you'd expect WalMart would have it cheaper but Amazon was $20 cheaper. $38 for a queen sized top of the line mattress. Wal-Mart's site says $39 but you go to the store & it is $55 to $65. I'll always give my business to Amazon over Wal-Mart. I bought it simply because my brother was coming to visit & I wanted him to crash in the guest bedroom in my apartment that doesn't have a bed. Ironically, this bed may turn out to be a blessing in disguise because I move into my new house in 3 weeks & my mattress may not be delivered until the week after I move in. So I can just stay in my apartment or use this very comfy air mattress & sleep at my new house until the new mattress comes. If you're looking for an air mattress, you can get a cheap 10" twin mattress for $30 that can only be used for camping trips or a 16.5" queen mattress that has a built in pillow for $38 that could likely be used as a real backup mattress for guests. ... show more

  • Great Product & Stellar Customer Service
Style: Queen
First, the basics. I purchased a "SoundAsleep Dream Series Air Mattress with ComfortCoil Technology". The size I purchased is a Twin XL. Everything that I read in the description for this Air Mattress is correct. The bed, out of the box, inflated in 5 minutes or less. The bed came very well packed in a box, and while the box had a few impact marks, the bed and the bag that it came packed in were in perfect condition. It also comes with a patch kit with I believe, enough material to patch two holes. The top has a waffled effect and it is "flocked", if that is the correct term. I like both as the "waffle" effect allow my shoulders and head to "sink into" the bed and for my back to get more support. The flocking is almost a skid resistant surface "holds" both blankets and sheets pretty much stay in place and prevents them from sliding around on the bed. The bed also has, when inflated, a kind of a raised bumper all the way around the edges which is very nice as it tells you where you are on the bed if you need to know. The top is supposed to be easy to clean which is a feature I hoped I would never have to us. Of course, that is not the case. On about the fifth night of sleeping on the bed I noticed that there was something on the mattress which turned out to be a piece of pie crust from one of the blankets I was using. The pie crust left an oily mark about two inches square. A little dish soapy water and the oily mark came right off and the mattress looks as good as new. No problem with the flocking coming off either. This is the most comfortable bed I have slept on in many, many years. My wife likes a bed that is almost rock hard which leaves my back and neck without support and aching when I get up in the morning. With this air mattress I can now adjust the bed to just how firm or soft I want it. I keep the bed inflated all the time and, so far, have only had to add air to it about every four to five days ~ 20-30 seconds and the mattress is back just where I like it. While the inflation/deflation fans are somewhat loud, only using them for 20-30 seconds once a week really makes the noise a non-issue. The electric cord for the fans even has a nice storage place built into the mattress to keep it out of the way. I was also concerned about getting hot sleeping on what is really a plastic surface. So far, I have been perfectly comfortable on this mattress. I suspect the flocking helps with that as well. I realize that this mattress is not really supposed to be an every night forever kind of a bed, but I am going to use it like that for as long as I can. I have been sleeping on it for six or seven weeks and have enjoyed it every night. When it wears out, provided it is still available, I will happily purchase another one. Addendum: One day earlier this week, it is now July 21, 2023, my Dream Series air mattress finally stopped retaining its air. At first it was a very slow leak, about 12 hours for the mattress to get "squishy". Last night it only took about 5 hours. Today I called the SoundAsleep support number and spoke with Casey. I can honestly say that for as much as I like the mattress, the customer support is even better. Not only was Casey pleasant and knowledgeable to talk to, she is going to replace my mattress and has even expedited the shipping on it. Yes, even though I am using the mattress as my long term bed which it is not meant for. So, in a couple of days I will have a new "dream" series mattress! The only drawback to this whole experience is that now I have to renew my search for an air mattress that is actually meant to be a "long term" bed and keep my SoundAsleep mattress as a backup. I sure hope I can find one that comes close to being as comfortable as my SoundAsleep mattress. This product and this company are keepers! ... show more

  • Best air mattress ever!
Style: Twin
This air mattress was amazing! My boyfriend and I took two twins on our camping trip and it was wonderful! The mattresses inflate very quickly (approx 90 sec), power deflate and are so so comfortable. They did not lose much air at all while we were using them. I would recommend reading the instructions and inflating for a few days before you plan to use them, to give the material time to expand. I would also recommend using these with a taller tent, we had a 7 ft tall tent and it was perfect, but because these are double the height of a normal air mattress there may not be enough head room in a shorter tent. I also recommend buying a car/cigarette lighter to outlet adapter, unless your campsite has electric hook ups, so that you can inflate the air mattress. I will never go back to sharing a queen size air mattress again! Since we each had our own we were not rolling into each other as the mattress begins to leak air.
