Great value for the price of this air mattress. Easily inflated and deflated in no time. Just plug it into an electrical outlet and it does all of the work. I chose the twin size to be used as an extra mattress for my daughter to sleep on in our hotel room. She is 5’7” & she slept very comfortably. Top portion has a soft liner. A twin mattress sheet fitted it quite nicely. She did use her own pillow from home, but she always does when we go on vacation. Not sure how comfortable it would be without using a pillow, but overall the mattress is a great choice. We also didn’t notice any deflation and we kept it inflated for five nights. We never had to add any more air to it. I’m very pleased and my daughter has begged me to let her take it with her to college in the fall. I will definitely buy this brand again if I’m in need of another one. ... show more

    • More pros than cons for my usage
This is my second purchase of this same model air mattress. The first one worked great the first several times I used it for van camping over a few year period. It was as comfortable as my regular bed at home, maybe even more so, and very quick and easy to inflate or adjust the firmness by letting a little air out or adding a little by plugging it into the van's AC/DC converter. It wouldn't make a good hiking air mattress, it's too big and heavy for that and the built in pump requires access to electricity, but it works well as a short term home/guest bed that can also be taken van or tent camping with access to 120v AC power, or 12v DC and an AC converter. A few slight cons from my experience - I don't like the "built in pillow" (lump) on one end. I use my regular pillows from home when tent/van camping and would rather it didn't have that lump, but I can live with it. Also, it may be a little wide (just under 40") for camping unless you have a lot of room. It fits with a few inches to spare in the back floor of my van (back seats out) if there's nothing else taking up floor space, but on trips there are usually packs, a bike, etc. in there too, so I have to get creative with how I use the space. I think for my next air mattress I'll consider one of the choices in the 30" wide range, but in the meantime, it's a tight squeeze in the van but works ok. In my four man dome tent, it's no problem. The biggest issue with the first one was after several uses (30-ish nights over a several year period?) something inside (a compartment divider?) apparently sprang an internal leak and allowed more of the air to go to the center, making it bow up somewhat in the middle. It was still technically usable and better than nothing but far less comfy than it had been, as it tended to want to roll me off one side or the other. Not long after that happened it got a puncture on the outside (my fault) and I had to replace it anyway. After shopping around and considering different brands and models I ended up deciding the pros of this mattress outweighed the cons, especially for the price, and I replaced it with the same thing. After several uses so far (about ten nights total) the replacement is still doing well. 4 1/2 stars. Minus 1/2 star for the previous example's eventual interior compartment rupture. ... show more

Did NOT come with carrying bag. Otherwise this is the second version Ive bought and they sre a top knotch product. My wife has used one of the extra height one for several months while I been sick. Just bought this one for ease of transport so the bag would have been nice. Highly recommend these for quality and great price. ... show more

Good price. It's not very comfortable when moving around, only when you are still. And it seem to leak a lot of air in the night. However for the price and convenience of built in pump it's very worth it.

Terrible! It was test the first couple days, and then it stopped holding air. This is highly disappointing considering the brand Initex is the best. I’ve owned a couple others air mattresses from this brand. The comfort, precise height and thickness as well as being true to size was why I bought this particular one. The built in electric pump makes it so easy to set up or add air as needed. However I was very disappointed when I spoke with Initex customer service. The first call to them to request a replacement or refund was helpful, hopeful, and productive. But things went straight downhill after that initial call. I feel like they were now not believing me, not wanting to stand behind their product and rectify the situation in the least. Plus they were dragging their feet to get passed the warranty. I had literally had my first child and got the air mattress for myself and baby to travel to family members homes to visit. Air would leak out until it was almost completely deflated. I did not hear a leak, me and some relatives scoured over the actual mattress looking for pin holes to cover found not one. I did all the troubleshooting the company offered. Nothing gave me a solution. Now since you bypass Amazon and have to deal directly with Initex I am left with no replacement, no refund, which I wasn’t asking for my money back rather I wanted to return the original and receive a replacement. Its nice. It can be firm or soft based on how you like it. It is a bit of a pain in the ass to store. It's a nice size it can easily fit a fully grown adult no larger than 6 ft. My only issue is that there is a bit of leaking that takes place in the night. You aren't fully on the floor but there is definitely a noticeable decline in air. ... show more
